Abstract
Description
도 1은 통상적인 유니버셜 이동 전기통신 시스템(UMTS) 네트워크의 시스템 아키텍쳐의 개관을 도시한다.
도 2는 제안된 개선된 L2 업링크 작업 아이템에 따른 무선 송수신 유닛(WTRU)내의 레이어 2(L2)에서의 강화된 MAC-e/es 엔티티의 개관을 도시한다.
도 3은 본 교시내용에 따른, 강화된 MAC-e/es 프로토콜 데이터 유닛(PDU) 생성 및 헤더 구조를 위한 프레임워크 도시한다.
도 4는 일 실시예에 따른, 강화된 MAC-es 헤더 구조를 도시한다.
도 5는 다른 실시예에 따른, 강화된 MAC-es PDU마다 하나의 논리 채널 식별정보(LCH-ID) 필드를 갖는 강화된 MAC-e PDU 헤더 포맷을 도시한다.
도 6은 다른 실시예에 따른, 강화된 MAC-es SDU들 또는 세그먼트들 모두에 대해 반복되는 LCH-ID 필드를 갖는 강화된 MAC-e 헤더 포맷을 도시한다.

Claims (8)
- 노드 B로부터 RNC(radio network controller, 무선 네트워크 제어기)로 전달되는 Iub E-DCH(enhanced dedicated channel, 강화된 전용 채널) 데이터 프레임을 생성하기 위한 방법에 있어서,
복수의 강화된 MAC-es (Medium Access Control, 매체 액세스 제어) PDU(Protocol Data Unit, 프로토콜 데이터 유닛)들을 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임에 추가시키는 단계; 및
상기 강화된 MAC-es PDU 각각에 대한 강화된 MAC-e PDU 헤더 기술어(descriptor)를 추가시키는 단계
를 포함하는 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임 생성 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 강화된 MAC-e PDU 헤더 기술어는 적어도 LCH-ID(Logical CHannel InDicator, 논리 채널 표시자), 길이(L) 필드 및 종결(F) 플래그를 포함하는 것인, Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임 생성 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임을 상기 RNC로 송신하는 단계를 또한 포함하는 것인, Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임 생성 방법. - 제3항에 있어서,
DDI(Data Description Indicator, 데이터 기술 표시자) 필드는 상기 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임과 함께 상기 RNC로 송신되지 않는 것인, Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임 생성 방법. - Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임을 RNC에 전달하도록 구성된 노드 B에 있어서,
복수의 강화된 MAC-es PDU들을 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임에 추가시키도록 구성되며;
상기 강화된 MAC-es PDU 각각에 대한 강화된 MAC-e PDU 헤더 기술어를 추가시키도록 구성된, 노드 B. - 제5항에 있어서, 상기 강화된 MAC-e PDU 헤더 기술어는 적어도 LCH-ID, 길이(L) 필드 및 종결(F) 플래그를 포함하는 것인, 노드 B.
- 제5항에 있어서,
상기 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임을 상기 RNC로 송신하도록 구성되는 송신기를 또한 포함하는, 노드 B. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 송신기는 DDI 필드를 상기 Iub E-DCH 데이터 프레임과 함께 상기 RNC로 송신하지 않도록 또한 구성되는 것인, 노드 B.
