상기 유료 TV 디코더 시스템에 의해, 적어도 제 1 스트림, 제 2 스트림 및 제어 워드 스트림을 포함하는 서비스를 수신하는 단계 -상기 제 1 스트림은 제 1 제어 워드(CW1)에 의해 암호화되고, 상기 제 2 스트림은 제 2 제어 워드에 의해 암호화됨- 와,
상기 제어 워드 스트림으로부터, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 제어 워드를 검색하도록 허용하는 적어도 하나의 주 제어 워드(CW) 및 액세스 조건을 포함하는 자격 메시지를 추출하는 단계와,
상기 제어 워드 스트림을 상기 보안 모듈로 전송하는 단계와,
상기 제어 워드 스트림으로부터 상기 자격 메시지를 추출하고 상기 액세스 조건을 검사하는 단계와,
상기 액세스 조건이 만족될 경우, 상기 자격 메시지 내 상기 주 제어 워드로부터 상기 제 1 및 제 2 제어 워드를 결정하는 단계와,
상기 보안 모듈의 내부 파라미터를 결정하는 단계 -이 내부 파라미터는 보안 모듈마다 고유함- 와,
상기 내부 파라미터의 부분에 기초하여 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 스트림에 대응하는 상기 제 1 또는 상기 제 2 제어 워드로부터 현재의 제어 워드를 선택하는 단계와,
상기 현재의 제어 워드를 상기 유료 TV 디코더로 전송하는 단계와,
상기 제 1 또는 상기 제 2 제어 워드의 선택에 따라서 상기 제 1 또는 상기 제 2 스트림으로부터 현재의 스트림을 선택하는 단계와,
상기 현재의 제어 워드로 상기 현재의 스트림을 해독하는 단계를 포함하는
방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 자격 메시지는 상기 제 1 및 상기 제 2 제어 워드를 포함하는
방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 상기 제 2 제어 워드는 해독 함수를 이용하여 상기 주 제어 워드로부터 계산되는

- 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 해독 함수는 모든 보안 모듈에 공통인 파라미터에 의해 초기화되는

상기 유료 TV 디코더에 의한 상기 현재의 스트림의 선택은 상기 유료 TV 디코더에 의한 상기 내부 파라미터의 동일 부분의 선택에 의해 트리거링되는

- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 상기 제 2 스트림은 상기 동일한 오디오 또는 비디오 정보를 운반하는 스트림인
방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항에 있어서,
적어도 상기 제 1 스트림은 상기 제 1 스트림을 상기 제 2 스트림으로부터 구별할 수 있게 하는 마크를 포함하는
방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 스트림은 오디오 스트림이고, 상기 마크는 미감지(unperceived) 오디오 마크인
