Abstract
본 발명에 따른 액정표시장치는, 액정패널과, 다수의 LED로부터의 광을 굴절 및 반사시켜 면광원을 상기 액정패널로 제공하는 도광판을 구비하며 상기 액정패널의 배면에 구비되는 백라이트 유닛을 포함하고, 상기 도광판에서 상기 다수의 LED와 마주대하는 제1측부에는 상기 다수의 LED 사이에 대응되는 위치마다 광을 도광판 내부로 반사시키기 위한 잉크패턴을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
이에 따라 네로우 베젤을 구현함과 동시에 균일한 화질을 표시하는 액정표시장치를 구현할 수 있게 된다.

도 5b는 본 발명의 바람직한 또 다른 실시예에 따른 액정표시장치에 대한 단면도.

Claims (4)
- 액정패널과;
다수의 LED로부터의 광을 굴절 및 반사시켜 면광원을 상기 액정패널로 제공하는 도광판을 구비하며 상기 액정패널의 배면에 구비되는 백라이트 유닛을 포함하고,
상기 도광판에서 상기 다수의 LED와 마주대하는 제1측부에는
상기 다수의 LED 사이에 대응되는 위치마다 광을 도광판 내부로 반사시키기 위한 잉크패턴을 구비하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 도광판의 제1측부와 마주보는 제2측부에는
외측을 향하는 광을 도광판 내부로 반사시키기 위한 반사부재를 구비하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,
상기 도광판은
상기 제1 및 제2측부를 수직 연결하는 제3 및 제4측부에 상기 반사부재를 구비하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 도광판의 제1측부에는
상기 잉크패턴이 도포되기 위한 음각패턴이 형성되고,
상기 음각패턴은
인쇄방식, 사출방식, 압출방식, 프레스방식, 스탬퍼(Stamper)라는 형틀을 이용한 임프린팅(imprinting)방식 및 레이저빔에 의한 레이저가공방식 중 하나로 형성된 액정표시장치.
