Claims (12)
- 각각 임펠러를 포함하는 4개 이상의 원심 압축 단을 포함하는 다단 압축 시스템에 있어서,
상기 원심 압축 단들 중 한 쌍의 압축 단의 임펠러들은 제 1 고속 직접 구동 모터에 결합된 제 1 샤프트 위에 장착되고 상기 원심 압축 단들 중 다른 한 쌍의 압축 단의 임펠러들은 제 2 고속 직접 구동 모터에 결합된 제 2 샤프트 위에 장착되며, 상기 제 1 모터와 제 2 모터의 속도는 상기 임펠러들이 모두 동일한 속도로 구동되도록 하나 이상의 구동부에 의해 조절되는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
한 쌍의 제 1 단들은 서로에 대해 병렬로 장착되고, 제 2 단과 제 3 단은 상기 한 쌍의 제 1 단과 직렬로 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
제 1 단들 중 한 단의 임펠러와 제 2 단의 임펠러는 상기 제 1 샤프트 위에 장착되고 제 1 단들 중 제 2 단의 임펠러와 제 3 단의 임펠러는 상기 제 2 샤프트 위에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
제 1 압축 단, 제 2 압축 단, 제 3 압축 단 및 제 4 압축 단이 직렬로 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 단의 임펠러와 상기 제 2 단의 임펠러는 제 1 샤프트 위에 장착되고 상기 제 3 단의 임펠러와 상기 제 4 단의 임펠러는 제 2 샤프트 위에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
제 1 인터쿨러가 제 1 압축 단(들)의 유체 배출부와 제 2 압축 단의 유체 유입부에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 2 항에 따른 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 인터쿨러는 상기 각각의 제 1 압축 단(들)의 유체 배출부에 연결되며 이에 따라 2개의 제 1 압축 단들로부터 각각 수용된 유체 스트림들이 제 2 압축 단에 단일의 저온의(cooler) 유체 스트림을 제공하기 위해 만나는(combined) 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
제 2 인터쿨러가 제 2 압축 단의 유체 배출부와 제 3 압축 단의 유체 유입부에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
제 3 인터쿨러가 제 3 압축 단의 유체 배출부와 제 4 압축 단의 유체 유입부에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
애프터 쿨러(after cooler)가 상기 압축 단들 중 최종 압축 단의 유체 배출부에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 모터들은 하나 이상의 가변 주파수 구동부(variable frequency drive)에 의해 조절되는 것을 특징으로 하는 다단 압축 시스템. - 첨부된 도면들에서 도시된 것과 같이, 상기 도면들을 참조하여, 실질적으로 위에서 기술한 것과 같은 다단 압축 시스템.
