Claims (8)
- 소음기 하우징의 내부에서 상기 소음기 하우징의 길이방향을 따라 일정 간격으로 고정 설치된 다수개의 배플과;
입구단은 상기 소음기 하우징의 전방을 관통해서 머플러와 연결되게 설치되고 출구단은 상기 배플을 관통해서 상기 소음기 하우징의 내부에 위치되게 고정 설치된 배기가스 유입파이프와;
상기 소음기 하우징내에서 상기 배플을 관통하여 고정 설치됨과 더불어 입구단이 상기 배플에 의해 구획된 어느 하나의 챔버내에서 상기 배기가스 유입파이프의 출구단과 함께 위치하도록 설치된 중간파이프와;
상기 중간파이프를 통과한 배기가스가 상기 소음기 하우징의 외부로 배출될 수 있도록 입구단은 상기 중간파이프의 출구단과 동일 챔버내에 위치하도록 설치되고 출구단은 상기 배플을 관통하지 않은 상태로 배기가스 배출방향이 상기 입구파이프에 배기가스가 입력되는 방향과 일치하지 않도록 상기 소음기 하우징을 관통해서 외부로 돌출되게 설치된 다수개의 배기가스 배출파이프
를 포함하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 소음기 하우징의 내부에는 제1,2,3배플이 상기 소음기 하우징의 길이방향을 따라 일정 간격으로 고정 설치되고;
상기 소음기 하우징의 내부공간은 상기 제1,2,3배플에 의해 제1,2,3,4챔버로 구획 형성되며;
상기 배기가스 유입파이프는 입구단이 상기 소음기 하우징의 전방을 관통해서 외부로 돌출되게 설치되고 출구단은 상기 제1배플을 관통해서 상기 제2챔버내에 위치하도록 설치되며;
상기 중간파이프는 상기 배기가스 유입파이프의 길이방향을 따라 상기 제2배플을 관통하여 설치되면서 입구단은 상기 배기가스 유입파이프의 출구단과 함께 상기 제2챔버에 위치하고 출구단은 상기 제3챔버에 위치하도록 설치되고;
상기 다수개의 배기가스 배출파이프는 입구단이 상기 중간파이프의 출구단과 함께 상기 제3챔버내에 위치하고 출구단은 상기 소음기 하우징의 측면을 관통해서 외부로 돌출되게 설치된 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 다수개의 배기가스 배출파이프는 제1,2배기가스 배출파이프로 이루어진 듀얼 파이프인 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 제1,2배기가스 배출파이프의 출구단은 후방 범퍼의 중앙하부의 위치에서 외부로 노출되게 설치된 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 제1,4챔버에는 단열성능을 향상시키기 위한 흡음재가 충진된 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 5에 있어서, 상기 흡음재는 글라스 울(glass wool)인 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 5에 있어서, 상기 제1배플에는 배기소음과 기류음을 저감시키기 위하여 상기 제1,2챔버를 연결하는 다수개의 연결통로가 형성된 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기. - 청구항 5에 있어서, 상기 제3배플에는 배기소음과 기류음을 저감시키기 위하여 상기 제3,4챔버를 연결하는 다수개의 연결통로가 형성된 것
을 특징으로 하는 차량용 소음기.
