Abstract
Description
Claims (24)
- CO를 함유하는 기질이 제한되거나 이용불가능한 경우, 카르복시도트로픽 박테리아의 미생물 배양체의 생존능력을 유지시키는 방법으로서, 배양체의 온도를 실질적으로 그 배양체의 최적 작업 온도 미만의 온도 또는 온도 범위로 유지시키는 것을 포함하여 이루어지는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 최적 작업 온도보다 적어도 5℃ 낮은 온도에서 유지시키는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 최적 작업 온도보다 적어도 10℃ 낮은 온도에서 유지시키는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 최적 작업 온도보다 적어도 15℃ 낮은 온도에서 유지시키는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 만일 CO를 함유하는 기질이 비제한적이지 않게 되면, 미생물 배양체의 온도를 실질적으로 최적 작업 온도에서 유지하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체는 바이오리액터 중 액체 영양 배지 중에 존재하는 것인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 액체 영양 배지의 온도가 최적 작업 온도 미만의 온도로 유지되도록 바이오리액터를 냉각하는 단계를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 배양체의 생존능력은 CO가 제한된 기간 동안 적어도 3 시간 동안 유지되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 배양체의 생존능력은 CO가 제한된 기간 동안 적어도 5 시간 동안 유지되는 것인 방법.
- 보관 기간 동안 카르복시도트로픽 박테리아의 미생물 배양체의 생존능력을 유지시키는 방법으로서, 이 방법은:
a. 미생물 배양체의 온도를 최적 작업 온도 미만의 온도 또는 온도 범위로 냉각하는 단계;
b. 미생물 배양체를 제한된 CO 조건 하에서 일정 시간 보관하는 단계
를 포함하여 이루어지는 것인 방법. - 제10항에 있어서, 배양체의 온도를 비제한적인 CO 조건 하에서 최적 작업 온도로 되돌리는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 적어도 5 시간 동안 보관하는 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제12항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 적어도 15 시간 동안 보관하는 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제13항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 보관하는 동안 원격지로 수송하는 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제14항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 미생물 배양체를 보관 후 바이오리액터에 접종하는데 이용하는 방법.
- 제10항 내지 제15항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, CO를 함유하는 기질은 가스 상태인 것인 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서, 기질은 철강금속제품 제조, 비철금속 제품 제조, 퍼트롤륨 정제 공정, 바이오매스의 가스화 공정, 석탄의 가스화 공정, 전력 생산, 카본블랙 생산, 암모니아 생산, 메탄올 생산 및 코크스 제조로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 산업 공정의 부산물로서 얻어지는 가스를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제16항 또는 제17항에 있어서, CO를 함유하는 기질은 CO를 적어도 약 15 부피% 내지 약 100 부피% 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제16항 내지 제18항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, CO를 함유하는 기질은 CO를 적어도 약 40 부피% 내지 약 70 부피% 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제19항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 카르복시도트로픽 박테리아는 클로스트리듐(Clostridium), 무어렐라(Moorella), 파이로코쿠스(Pyrococcus), 유박테리움(Eubacterium), 데술포박테리움(Desulfobacterium), 카르복시도써무스(Carboxydothermus), 아세토게늄(Acetogenium), 아세토박테리움(Acetobacterium), 아세토안에어로비움(Acetoanaerobium), 부티리박테리움( Butyribaceterium) 및 펩토스트렙토코쿠스(Peptostreptococcus)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 카르복시도트로픽 박테리아는 클로스트리듐 오토에타노게눔(Clostridium autoethanogenum )인 것인 방법.
- 적어도 하나의 바이오리액터; 미생물 배양체에 제공되는 CO를 함유하는 기질이 제한적인지 또는 비제한적인지를 결정하기 위한 수단; 및 사용시, 미생물 배양체에 대한 CO 함유 기질의 공급이 제한적인지 또는 비제한적인지의 결정에 따라 바이오리액터의 온도를 제어하는 온도 조절 수단을 포함하여 이루어지는, CO 함유 기질의 발효를 위한 시스템.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 조절 수단은 만일 결정 수단이, CO를 함유하는 기질의 공급이 제한적이라고 판정할 경우 바이오리액터의 온도를 감소시키도록 고안된 것인 시스템.
- 제22항 또는 제23항에 있어서, 상기 시스템은 CO를 함유하는 기질이 제한적인지 또는 비제한적인지의 여부에 응답하여 바이오리액터의 온도를 자동적으로 조절하도록 고안된 프로세싱 수단을 포함하는 것인 시스템.
