Claims (10)
- 제1 도광판;상기 제1 도광판의 일측에 대향하는 제1 광원;상기 제1 도광판의 타측에 대향하는 제2 광원;상기 제1 도광판보다 작은 크기를 가지며, 상기 제1 도광판의 아래에 배치되는 제2 도광판;상기 제2 도광판의 일측에 대향하는 제3 광원; 및상기 제3 도광판의 타측에 대향하는 제4 광원을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 도광판은 상기 제1 도광판의 중앙부와 중첩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 도광판은 다수의 작은 도광판들로 분할되는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 제2 도광판은 다수의 작은 도광판들로 분할되는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 도광판 각각의 하면에는 광의 면균일도를 높이기 위한 미세 패턴들이 형성되고,상기 제1 및 제2 도광판 각각의 상면 및 하면 중 하나 이상의 면에는 블록 분할 패턴들이 형성되며,상기 블록 분할 패턴들은 상기 미세 패턴들보다 깊거나 높은 음각 패턴, 양각 패턴, 음양각 패턴 중 어느 하나로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 도광판은 일체화된 것을 특징으로 하는 백라이트 유닛.
- 액정표시패널; 및상기 액정표시패널의 아래에 배치되어 로컬 디밍 방법으로 분할된 블록 단위로 상기 액정표시패널에 빛을 조사하는 에지형 백라이트 유닛을 구비하고,상기 에지형 백라이트 유닛은,제1 도광판;상기 제1 도광판의 일측에 대향하는 제1 광원;상기 제1 도광판의 타측에 대향하는 제2 광원;상기 제1 도광판보다 작은 크기를 가지며, 상기 제1 도광판의 아래에 배치되는 제2 도광판;상기 제2 도광판의 일측에 대향하는 제3 광원; 및상기 제3 도광판의 타측에 대향하는 제4 광원을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제2 도광판은 상기 제1 도광판의 중앙부와 중첩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제1 및 제2 도광판은 일체화된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 광원들을 상기 블록 단위로 구동시키는 광원 구동부;입력 영상을 분석하여 블록별 디밍값을 선택하고 그 블록별 디밍값에 기초하어 상기 광원 구동부를 제어하고 상기 액정표시패널에 입력될 픽셀 데이터를 보상하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
