Description
Claims (11)
- 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법에 있어서,로그 함수를 이용하여 아날로그 신호들을 더 넓은 동적 범위로부터 더 낮은 동적 범위로 압축하고;상기 압축된 아날로그 신호들을 디지털화하고;역 로그 함수(anti-log function)를 이용하여 상기 디지털화된 신호들을 압축해제(decompress)하며;상기 디지털화된 신호들에 기초하여 I 신호와 Q 신호의 디지털 도메인을 해독(decipher)하는 것을 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축 해제는, 비트 신호들을 생성함으로써 상기 디지털화된 신호들을 선형 스케일로 변환하는 것을 포함하는 것인, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 압축은, 하나 이상의 추가적인 이득 단(stage)을 추가하는 것을 포함하는 것인, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 디지털 I 신호 출력 및 디지털 Q 신호 출력을 생성하기 위 해 상기 해독된 I 신호 및 Q 신호를 부호 비트들과 결합하는 것을 더 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,n개(n은 양의 정수)의 샘플들에 대해 결합된 I 채널 출력 및 Q 채널 출력의 평균 전력에 기초하여 상기 디지털 I 신호 출력 및 디지털 Q 신호 출력을 정규화하고;수신된 신호들에 대한 입력 전력 레벨을 추정하며;상기 추정된 입력 전력이 미리 결정된 임계값보다 작은 경우 저잡음 필터를 활성화하거나 비활성화하는 것을 더 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,착신(incoming) 신호들을 지원하기 위해 채널 손실 변동을 보상하고;안정성, 정착 시간(settling time), 오버슈트(overshoot) 중 적어도 하나를 유지하는 것을 더 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 디지털 베이스밴드 보상 프로세서를 이용하여 상기 수신기의 무선 주파수(RF) 성능을 강화하는 것을 더 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 강화는,상기 수신기의 RF 요건들을 완화하고;상기 수신기의 비용 및 전력 소비를 감소시키며;상기 수신기의 RF 허용오차(tolerance)에 의한 열화(impairment)를 보정하는 것을 포함하는 것인, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 강화는, 상기 디지털화된 신호들의 대역폭 샘플링 레이트를 조정하는 것을 포함하는 것인, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 조정은,연속하는 샘플들을 서로 더하여 단일 출력을 생성하고;상기 대역폭 샘플링 레이트를 감소시키는 것을 포함하는 것인, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,수신기 이득 결함을 보상함으로써, 수신된 신호들을 고주파수로부터 베이스밴드 주파수로 변환하는데 있어 연속적인 증폭 단(stage)들이 이용되도록 하고;상기 연속적인 증폭 단들로부터 직류(DC) 성분들을 제거하며;고역 필터(HF) 단들을 삽입하여 교류(AC) 성분들만이 통과되도록 하는 것을 더 포함하는, 수신기의 성능을 강화하기 위한 방법.
