Claims (4)
- 배기 매니폴드와 머플러 사이에 구비되는 배기가스 정화를 위한 촉매컨버터에 있어서,촉매 수용부(15)와, 상기 촉매 수용부(15)의 양측으로부터 공간이 축소되며 일측이 개방된 유입구(13) 및 토출구(14)를 형성한 상,하 덮개(11,12)로 이루어진 하우징의 내부에 단열재(20)를 구비하고, 상기 단열재(20)의 내부에는 쉘(50)을 구비하며, 상기 쉘(50)의 내부에는 매트(30)를 구비하고, 상기 매트(30)의 내부에는 촉매(40)를 구비하여 구성하되,상기 촉매(40)는 일측에 형성된 분산유도부를 더 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매컨버터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 촉매(40)는 상기 촉매수용부(15)에 하나 이상 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매컨버터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 분산유도부는 그 단면형상이 콘(cone) 형상, 역 콘(cone) 형상, 오목 형상, 또는 사선부위를 곡선 처리한 콘(cone) 형상 중 어느 하나의 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매컨버터.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 촉매의 타측은 그 단면형상이 일자 형상, 또는 분산유도부 형상과 대응되는 형상으로 마감되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매컨버터.
