Claims (5)
- 자동차 배기 머플러에 부착되는 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템에 있어서,배출되는 매연의 입자상 물질을 필터로 여과하고 이를 엔진의 배출가스 열 또는 전기히터 등을 이용하여 연소시키는 하니컴 타입의 매연여과필터(DPF)(20')와;상기 매연여과필터(20')의 전단에 위치되고, 귀금속 촉매가 코팅되되, 배출가스 중의 미연탄화수소와 일산화탄소 등 유해한 가스상 물질이 상기 촉매와 접촉하면서 화학반응을 일으켜 무해한 CO2와 H20로 산화되도록 하는 기능 및 일부의 매연을 포집하는 기능을 가짐으로써 상기 고가의 매연여과필터(20')의 사용량을 줄일 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폼 타입의 산화촉매(DOC)(10);로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 매연포집능력이 증대된 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 산화촉매(10)는 체적이 엔진배기량 대비 0.5 내지 2배 되는 저가의 산화촉매(10)가 사용되어 배출되는 매연을 30 내지 50% 저감함으로써, 후단에 위치되는 상기 고가의 매연여과필터(20') 체적을 30 내지 50% 감소시킬 수 있도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 매연포집능력이 증대된 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 산화촉매(10)는 기공(Pore)(30)이 너무 클 경우 매연 포집율이 저하되고, 상기 기공(30)이 너무 작을 경우 매연 포집율이 높지만 상기 산화촉매(10) 앞부분에 매연이 과다하게 포집되어 막히는 현상을 방지하기 위해, 기공(30)의 크기를 1 내지 5mm가 되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 매연포집능력이 증대된 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 산화촉매(10)는 세라믹 또는 금속 재질인 것을 특징으로 하는 매연포집능력이 증대된 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 산화촉매(10)의 매연 여과 원리는 깊이 여과법(Depth filtration)이 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 매연포집능력이 증대된 경유차용 배출가스 후처리 시스템.
