Abstract

A sliding door locking apparatus is provided to prevent a door from being open by installing a hinge projection part in a side of the door, thereby obtaining a safety locking apparatus. An operating part(3) is installed at a windowsill(7). An attaching plate(1) and an operating lever(2) are installed outside the window frame. When the operating lever is turned in a direction which a window is opened, a rotation plate elevates a hinge shaft(4) in both directions. Then, the hinge shaft leaves a hinge projection part(6) and the window is opened. The hinge projection part is installed in a window frame(8) and has peaks for moving to a direction which the window is closed.
