Claims (19)
- X 전극 및 Y 전극들과 어드레스 전극들이 교차되는 영역에 방전셀들이 형성되는 디스플레이 패널에 대하여, 디스플레이 주기로서의 프레임마다 시분할 계조 디스플레이를 위한 복수의 서브-필드들이 존재하고,상기 각각의 서브-필드가, 상기 모든 방전셀들을 초기화하는 리셋 주기, 상기 모든 방전셀들 중에서 표시하고자 하는 방전셀들을 선택하는 어드레스 주기, 및 상기 선택된 방전셀들에서 유지방전을 일으키는 유지방전 주기를 포함하며,상기 유지방전 주기에는 상기 X 전극 및 Y 전극들에 제1레벨의 유지펄스 전압이 교대로 인가되고, 상기 유지펄스 중에서 첫 번째 유지펄스 전압의 시간 폭이 3㎲이상 10㎲이하인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,표시하고자 하는 영상신호에 따라 X 구동제어신호, Y 구동제어신호, 및 A 구동제어신호를 포함하는 구동제어신호를 발생시키는 논리 제어부, 상기 X 구동제어신호를 처리하여 상기 X 전극들에 인가하는 X 구동부, 상기 Y 구동제어신호를 처리하여 상기 Y 전극들에 인가하는 Y 구동부, 및 상기 A 구동제어신호를 처리하여 상기 어드레스 전극들에 인가하는 어드레스 구동부를 구비하는 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 방전셀 내부에는 적어도 크세논과 헬륨을 포함하는 방전가스가 충전되는 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 크세논의 비율보다 큰 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 2%이상 20%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 4%이상 14%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제6항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 6%이상 12%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 15%이상 50%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 방전가스의 전압력이 400Torr 이상 550Torr 이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 2%이상 20%이하의 범위이고, 상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 15%이상 50%이하의 범위이고, 상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 크세논의 비율보다 크고, 상기 방전가스의 전압력이 400Torr 이상 550Torr 이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동장치.
- X 전극 및 Y 전극들과 어드레스 전극들이 교차되는 영역에 방전셀들이 형성되는 디스플레이 패널에 대하여, 디스플레이 주기로서의 프레임마다 시분할 계조 디스플레이를 위한 복수의 서브-필드들이 존재하고,상기 각각의 서브-필드가, 상기 모든 방전셀들을 초기화하는 리셋 주기, 상기 모든 방전셀들 중에서 표시하고자 하는 방전셀들을 선택하는 어드레스 주기, 및 상기 선택된 방전셀들에서 유지방전을 일으키는 유지방전 주기를 포함하며,상기 유지방전 주기에는 상기 X 전극 및 Y 전극들에 제1레벨의 유지펄스 전압이 교대로 인가되고, 상기 유지펄스 중에서 첫 번째 유지펄스 전압의 시간 폭이 3㎲이상 10㎲이하인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 방전셀 내부에는 적어도 크세논과 헬륨을 포함하는 방전가스가 충전되는 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 크세논의 비율보다 큰 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 2%이상 20%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 4%이상 14%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제15항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 크세논의 비율이 6%이상 12%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제14항에 있어서,상기 방전가스에서 헬륨의 비율이 15%이상 50%이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 방전가스의 전압력이 400Torr 이상 550Torr 이하의 범위인 디스플레이 패널의 구동방법.
