Claims (4)
- 연속되는 복수의 제어점을 지나는 곡선을, 화상 신호에 대하여 감마 보정을 행할 때에 이용하는 감마 커브로서 생성하기 위한 감마 커브 생성 방법에 있어서,(a) 연속되는 복수의 상기 제어점으로부터, 연속되는 3개의 제어점을 각각 선택하는 공정;(b) 선택한 3개의 제어점마다 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 3차 곡선을 각각 생성하는 공정; 및(c) 생성한 각각의 3차 곡선을 합쳐서 상기 감마 커브를 생성하는 공정을 구비하고,상기 공정(b)에서는, 선택한 3개의 제어점에 대하여 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 상기 3차 곡선을 생성할 때에, 선택한 3개의 상기 제어점을 연속되는 순으로 제1, 제2, 제3 제어점으로 하고, 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점을 잇는 직선의 기울기를 G12로 하고, 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점을 잇는 직선의 기울기를 G23으로 한 경우에, 상기 제2 제어점에서의 상기 3차 곡선에 대한 접선의 기울기(G)가, 하기 식을만족하는 3차 곡선을 생성하는감마 커브 생성 방법.
- 연속되는 복수의 제어점을 지나는 곡선을, 화상 신호에 대하여 감마 보정을 행할 때에 이용하는 감마 커브로서 생성하기 위한 감마 커브 생성 방법에 있어서,(a) 연속되는 복수의 상기 제어점으로부터, 연속되는 3개의 제어점을 각각 선택하는 공정;(b) 선택한 3개의 제어점마다 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 3차 곡선을 각각 생성하는 공정; 및(c) 생성한 각각의 3차 곡선을 합쳐서 상기 감마 커브를 생성하는 공정을 구비하고,상기 공정(b)에서는 선택한 3개의 제어점에 대하여 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 상기 3차 곡선을 생성할 때에, 선택한 3개의 상기 제어점을 연속되는 순으로 제1, 제2, 제3 제어점으로 하고, 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점을 잇는 선분과 상기 3차 곡선에서의 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점의 사이의 호에 의하여 둘러싸이는 영역의 면적과, 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점을 잇는 선분과 상기 3차 곡선에서의 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점의 사이의 호에 의하여 둘러싸이는 영역의 면적의 합을 구하고, 그 합이 최소가 되는 3차 곡선을 생성하는감마 커브 생성 방법.
- 연속되는 복수의 제어점을 지나는 곡선을, 화상 신호에 대하여 감마 보정을 행할 때에 이용하는 감마 커브로서 생성하기 위한 감마 커브 생성 장치에 있어서,연속되는 복수의 상기 제어점으로부터, 연속되는 3개의 제어점을 각각 선택하며, 선택한 3개의 제어점마다 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 3차 곡선을 각각 생성하고, 생성한 각각의 3차 곡선을 합쳐서 상기 감마 커브를 생성하는 것과 함께,선택한 3개의 제어점에 대하여 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 상기 3차 곡선을 생성할 때에, 선택한 3개의 상기 제어점을 연속되는 순으로 제1, 제2, 제3 제어점으로 하고, 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점을 잇는 직선의 기울기를 G12로 하고, 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점을 잇는 직선의 기울기를 G23으로 한 경우에, 상기 제2 제어점에서의 상기 3차 곡선에 대한 접선의 기울기(G)가, 하기 식을만족하는 3차 곡선을 생성하는감마 커브 생성 장치.
- 연속되는 복수의 제어점을 지나는 곡선을, 화상 신호에 대하여 감마 보정을 행할 때에 이용하는 감마 커브로서 생성하기 위한 감마 커브 생성 장치에 있어서,연속되는 복수의 상기 제어점으로부터, 연속되는 3개의 제어점을 각각 선택하고, 선택한 3개의 제어점마다 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 3차 곡선을 각각 생성하며, 생성한 각각의 3차 곡선을 합쳐서 상기 감마 커브를 생성하는 것과 함께,선택한 3개의 제어점에 대하여 그 3개의 제어점을 지나는 상기 3차 곡선을 생성할 때에, 선택한 3개의 상기 제어점을 연속되는 순으로 제1, 제2, 제3 제어점으로 하고, 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점을 잇는 선분과 상기 3차 곡선에서의 상기 제1 제어점과 상기 제2 제어점의 사이의 호에 의하여 둘러싸이는 영역의 면적과, 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점을 잇는 선분과 상기 3차 곡선에서의 상기 제2 제어점과 상기 제3 제어점의 사이의 호에 의하여 둘러싸이는 영역의 면적의 합을 구하고, 그 합이 최소가 되는 3차 곡선을 생성하는감마 커브 생성 장치.
