Description
Claims (15)
- 적어도 하나의 트리거 신호에 의해 핸드오버에 대한 무선 통신 시스템의 결정을 트리거하고/하거나 핸드오버를 트리거하는 방법으로서,상기 방법은,a) 알고리즘의 파라미터의 값을 결정하는 단계 -상기 파라미터는 무선 링크의 서비스 품질의 적어도 한 양상을 정량화하는 데 적합하고, 상기 무선 링크는 무선 통신 시스템과 단말 디바이스를 연결하며, 상기 파라미터(QoS 파라미터) 및 상기 알고리즘은 서로 다른 무선 액세스 기술(RAT)에 관해 포괄적임-,b) 상기 알고리즘을 처리하고, 이에 의해 상기 파라미터를 이용하는 단계,c) 상기 알고리즘의 출력에 기초하여, 트리거 신호를 상기 통신 시스템에 전송해야 하는지 여부를 결정하는 단계, 및d) 단계 c)에서의 결정이 긍정적인 경우에는 상기 트리거 신호를 상기 통신 시스템에 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,제네릭 파라미터의 값을 결정하는 단계는a) 그 파라미터를 측정 및/또는 평가하는 단계, 및/또는b) RAT-특정 파라미터를 측정 및/또는 평가하고, 그 얻은 값을 제네릭 파라 미터의 값으로 매핑하는 단계에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,제네릭 파라미터의 값을 결정하는 단계는a) 제네릭 파라미터의 값, 또는 제네릭 파라미터의 값의 수학적 표현을 수신하는 단계, 및/또는b) RAT-특정 파라미터의 값을 수신하고, 그 값을 제네릭 파라미터의 값으로 매핑하는 단계에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,알고리즘을 처리하는 단계는 상기 통신 시스템으로부터 수신한 값 및/또는 상기 단말 디바이스에 의해 결정된 값으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,알고리즘은 메트릭이거나 발견적 규칙에 기초하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,알고리즘은 메트릭이고, 그 출력은 스칼라값인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,fi(xi)=xi인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,무선 링크의 파라미터를 결정하는 단계는 상기 단말 디바이스에 의해 수행되고, 상기 단말 디바이스는 상기 통신 시스템으로부터 가중화 팩터 ai를 수신한 후 메트릭의 값을 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,파라미터의 값을 결정하고, 알고리즘을 처리하는 단계는 복수의 무선 링크에 대해 수행하고, 무선 링크 품질의 랭킹이 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 방법은 컴퓨터 프로그램에 의해 적어도 부분적으로 수행되는 방법.
- 핸드오버에 대한 무선 통신 시스템의 결정을 트리거하고/하거나 핸드오버를 트리거하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램 제품으로서,상기 컴퓨터 프로그램 제품은 컴퓨터 프로그램 코드 수단을 구비한 컴퓨터 판독가능 매체(3)를 포함하여, 상기 프로그램이 로드될 때, 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 수행하기 위하여 컴퓨터를 실행가능하게 하는 컴퓨터 프 로그램 제품.
- 무선 통신 시스템을 액세스하기 위한 단말 디바이스로서,제13항에 따른 컴퓨터 프로그램 제품을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단말 디바이스.
- 무선 통신 시스템으로서,제13항에 따른 컴퓨터 프로그램 제품을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 통신 시스템.
