Claims (5)
- 프로토콜 데이터 유닛들(PDUs) 및 서비스 데이터 유닛들(SDUs)을 사용하는 무선 통신 시스템에서의 폴링 방법에 있어서,제1 소정 기간내에 폴링을 금지하는 단계;폴링이 금지되는 동안 폴 기능을 트리거하는 단계;상기 제1 소정 기간이 만료된 후, 송신 또는 재송신을 위해 스케줄링된 아무런 PDU들도 존재하지 않고 아직 확인되지 않은 적어도 하나의 송신된 PDU가 존재한다는 것을 결정하는 단계; 및상기 폴 기능을 실행하기 위하여 재송신을 위해 스케줄링할 PDU를 선택하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴 기능은,첫번째 송신을 위한 버퍼내의 마지막 PDU가 송신을 위해 스케줄링되는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "첫번째 송신을 위한 버퍼내의 마지막 PDU" 트리거;재-송신을 위한 버퍼내의 마지막 PDU가 재-송신을 위해 스케줄링되는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "재-송신 버퍼내의 마지막 PDU" 트리거;모든 제1 소정 수의 PDU들이 송신 또는 재송신을 위해 스케줄링되는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "모든 제1 소정 수의 PDU들" 트리거;모든 제2 소정 수의 SDU들이 송신을 위해 스케줄링되는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "모든 제2 소정 수의 SDU들" 트리거; 또는송신 윈도의 소정 비율이 도달되는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "윈도-기반" 트리거에 의해 트리거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴 기능은,폴이 송신된 후 제2의 소정 기간내에 예기된 상태 보고서가 수신되지 않는 경우 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "폴 타이머" 트리거; 또는매 제3 소정 기간에 상기 폴 기능을 트리거하는 "타이머-기반" 트리거에 의해 트리거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택된 PDU는 적어도 한번 송신된 순차적으로 마지막 PDU가 되는 PDU인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택된 PDU는 송신 윈도 크기가 상기 통신 시스템에서 PDU들의 시퀀스 번호들의 공간의 값의 절반 미만인 경우 송신되었지만 아직 확인되지 않은 PDU인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
