Description
Claims (11)
- 네트워크와 연결하기 위한 물리 포트를 라우터에 구성하는 방법(300)으로서,상기 방법은,상기 물리 포트를 상기 네트워크용으로 구성하는 메시지를 수신하는 단계(320),상기 메시지 수신에 응답하여, 상기 네트워크를 액세스하기 위해 상기 물리 포트를 이용하도록 매핑 지정의 세트를 관련시키는 단계(325), 및상기 매핑 지정의 관련에 응답하여, 상기 매핑 지정을 구현하여 상기 네트워크와 연결하도록 상기 물리 포트를 구성하는 단계(330)를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 매핑 지정을 저장하는 단계(340)를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 네트워크는 WAN(Wide Area Network)인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 네트워크는 LAN(Local Area Network)인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 네트워크는, 상기 구현 단계(330) 이전에는 LAN(Local Area Network)이고, 상기 구현 단계(330) 이후에는 WAN(Wide Area Network)인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 메시지는 SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) SET 명령을 이용해 구현하는 방법.

- 라우터로서,WAN/LAN 포트 관리부(225)를 구비한 프로세서, 메모리 및 지원 회로부(220),LAN 인터페이스(130),WAN 인터페이스(135), 및상기 LAN 인터페이스(130) 또는 상기 WAN 인터페이스(135)와 선택적으로 연결가능한 복수의 물리 포트(240)를 포함하고,상기 WAN/LAN 포트 관리부(225)는 상기 복수의 물리 포트(240) 각각이 상기 LAN 인터페이스(130) 또는 상기 WAN 인터페이스(135)와 연결되는지를 제어하는 라 우터.
