Claims (4)
- 잉크젯 프린터용 프린트헤드로서, 상기 프린트헤드(Printhead)는,적어도 하나 이상의 프린트헤드 칩(Chip)을 포함하고, 상기 적어도 하나 이상의 프린트헤드 칩은,기판과; 그리고상기 기판상에 위치하는 복수의 노즐장치를 포함하며, 각 노즐장치는,노즐챔버(Nozzle Chamber)를 형성하는 노즐챔버벽 및 적어도 하나 이상의 잉크분사포트를 형성하는 루프(Roof)벽과; 그리고잉크분사기구의 변위에 의해 적어도 하나 이상의 잉크분사포트로부터 잉크를 분사하기 위해 상기 노즐챔버에 관하여 작동되도록 배열되는 잉크분사기구와; 그리고상기 프린트헤드 칩 또는 각각의 프린트헤드 칩상에 위치하는 노즐가드를 포함하고, 상기 노즐가드는,상기 프린트헤드 칩으로 부터 간격을 가지고 결쳐있고, 몸체부를 통하여 연장된 복수의 통로를 형성하며, 각 통로가 상기 잉크분사 포트들 중의 하나와 일치하고, 상기 잉크분사포트로부터 분사되는 잉크가 상기 통로들을 통해 통과하도록 하는 몸체부의 두께 및 각 통로의 단면적을 갖는 몸체부와; 그리고상기 몸체부 및 상기 프린트헤드 칩사이에 개재하고, 상기 몸체부와 상기 프린트헤드 칩사이에 형성된 공간으로 공기가 유입될 수 있도록 형성되며, 상기 각통로를 미립자들로 부터 청정하게 유지하기 위한 각 통로를 통해 공기가 흐르도록 하는 보강구조를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린터용 프린트헤드.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 기판은, 실리콘 웨이퍼기판의 형태인 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린터용 프린트헤드.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 각 노즐장치는, 마이크로 전기기계 시스템을 형성하기 위해 상기 실리콘 웨이퍼기판상에서 수행된 집적회로 제조기술의 산물인 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린터용 프린트헤드.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 보강구조는, 상기 몸체부와 상기 프린트헤드 칩사이에 개재되는 다수의 스트럿(Strut)에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린터용 프린트헤드.
