Abstract
Description
Claims (40)
- 적어도 80% 의 칼슘 이온을 제거하도록 구성되고 또한:a) 경수의 유입 흐름을 수용하고,b) 적어도 80% 의 유입 흐름을 포함하는 투과수 유출 흐름을 배출하고, 및c) 적어도 20% 의 유입 흐름을 포함하는 불투과수 유출 흐름을 배출하도록 구성되는 적어도 하나의 나노여과 필터 부재를 포함하고;상기의 투과수 유출 흐름은 상기의 불투과수 유출 흐름보다 낮은 경도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 250 psi 미만의 압력에서 경수의 유입 흐름을 수용하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 20 내지 500 의 분자량 차단(cut-off)을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재를 통과하는 물의 플럭스(flux)가 적어도 75 리터/m2/시간 인 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 85% 이상의 칼슘 이온 제거율을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 90% 이상의 칼슘 이온 제거율을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 적어도 90% 의 유입 흐름을 포함하는 투과수 유출 흐름을 배출하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,투과수의 최대 유출 유속은 10 갤런/분 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 물 및 1가 이온은 통과시키나 2가 이온은 실질적으로 통과시키지 않는 평균 세공 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 장치는 물의 유입 흐름에 대한 총 염 농도(total salt levels)를 실질적으로 증가시키지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 양으로 하전된 막(membrane)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,유입 흐름은 음용수를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,투과수 유출 흐름은 3.5 그레인/갤런 미만의 경도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 장치는 24 시간 주기당 200 갤런 이상의 투과수 유출 흐름을 갖도록 구성 및 조립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 1항의 장치를 사용하여 연화된 물.
- 적어도 85% 의 2가 경도 이온을 제거하도록 구성되고, 또한:a) 경수의 유입 흐름을 수용하고,b) 적어도 90% 의 유입 흐름을 포함하는 투과수 유출 흐름을 배출하고, 및c) 적어도 10% 의 유입 흐름을 포함하는 불투과수 유출 흐름을 배출하도록 구성되는 적어도 하나의 나노여과 필터 부재를 포함하고;상기의 투과수 유출 흐름은 상기의 불투과수 유출 흐름보다 낮은 경도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 하나의 나노여과 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 2개 이상의 나노여과 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 90% 이상의 제거율을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 적어도 90% 의 물 회수율을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 최대 유속(peak flow rate)이 5 내지 10 갤런/분 인 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 20 내지 500 의 분자량 차단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 물 및 1가 이온은 통과시키나 2가 이온은 실질적으로 통과시키지 않는 평균 세공 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 물의 유입 흐름에 대한 총 염 농도를 실질적으로 증가시키지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,유입 흐름은 200 lb/in2이하의 압력에서 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 양으로 하전된 막을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,유입 흐름은 음용수를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,투과수 유출 흐름은 3.5 그레인/갤런 미만의 경도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 장치는 24 시간 주기당 200 갤런 이상의 투과수 유출 흐름을 갖도록 구성 및 조립되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 장치.
- 제 16항의 장치를 사용하여 연화된 물.
- 적어도 80% 의 칼슘 이온을 제거하도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 나노여과 필터 부재를 제공하는데:적어도 2 그레인/갤런 의 경도를 가진 물의 유입 흐름을 수용하고;적어도 80% 의 유입 흐름을 함유하고, 나노여과 필터를 통과한 투과수로 이루어진 제1 유출 흐름을 배출하고; 및적어도 20% 의 유입 흐름을 함유하고, 나노여과 필터를 통과하지 않은 불투과수로 이루어진 제2 유출 흐름을 배출하는 단계들을 포함하고;상기 투과수 유출 흐름이 상기 불투과수 유출 흐름보다 낮은 경도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 물 및 1가 이온은 실질적으로 통과시키나 2가 이온은 실질적으로 통과시키지 않는 평균 세공 크기를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,상기 방법은 물의 유입 흐름에 대한 총 염 농도를 실질적으로 증가시키지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,유입 흐름은 200 lb/in2이하의 압력에서 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,유입 흐름은 140 내지 200 lb/in2이하의 압력에서 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,나노여과 부재는 양으로 하전된 막을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,투과수 유출 흐름은 유입 흐름의 90% 이상을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,투과수의 유출 흐름은 3.5 그레인/갤런 미만의 경도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 연수처리 방법.
