Claims (21)
- 무선 링크를 통해 송신기로부터 데이타를 수신하기 위해 수신기를 동작시키기 위한 방법에 있어서,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러(error free)인지를 판정하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러이면, 상기 송신기로 성공적인 수신을 확인통지하고, 상기 물리층 프레임으로부터 패킷 데이타 유닛을 추출하고, 상기 수신기 상에서 동작하는 링크층에 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 전달하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러가 아니면, 상기 송신기로 성공적인 수신을 부정적으로 확인통지하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 수신기 상에서 동작하는 물리층에 의해, 상기 무선 링크를 통해 상기 송신기로부터 물리층 프레임을 수신하는 단계; 및상기 패킷 데이터 유닛이 손실되었는지 여부를 판정하는 단계와,상기 패킷 데이터 유닛이 손실되었을 때, 상기 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛을 위한 상기 물리층에서의 에러 복구 동작의 시간에 해당하는 지연 시간 동안 상기 손실된 패킷 유닛에 대해 자동 재전송 요청을 지연시키는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 수신기 상에서 동작하는 상기 링크층에 의해 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 수신기 동작 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지연 시간은 N이 자연수일 때 상기 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛을 포함하는 물리층 프레임을 성공적으로 수신하기 위한 N회 시도에 해당하는 수신기 동작 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 송신기는 기지국이고, 상기 수신기는 이동국인 수신기 동작 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 송신기는 이동국이고, 상기 수신기는 기지국인 수신기 동작 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 패킷 데이타 유닛이 손실되었는지를 판정하는 단계는 수신된 패킷 데이타 유닛의 시퀀스 번호를 예상 패킷 데이타 유닛의 시퀀스 번호와 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 수신기 동작 방법.
- 무선 링크를 통해 수신기로 데이타를 송신하도록 송신기를 동작시키기 위한 방법에 있어서,상기 송신기 상에서 동작하는 링크층으로부터 상기 송신기 상에서 동작하는 물리층으로 패킷 데이타 유닛을 전달하는 단계와,상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 물리층 프레임으로 패킷화하는 단계와,상기 무선 링크를 통해 상기 수신기로 상기 물리층 프레임을 송신하는 단계와,상기 수신기로부터 상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신의 표시를 대기하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신의 표시가 수신되지 않을 때, 상기 물리층 프레임의 재송신을 개시하는 단계와,적어도 하나의 재송신의 시도 후에 상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신 표시가 수신되지 않을 때, 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛이 손실되었음을 상기 링크층에 통지하는 단계와,손실된 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛에 대한 에러 복구 동작을 상기 링크층이 개시하는 단계를 포함하는 송신기 동작 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, N이 자연수일 때 상기 물리층 프레임의 N-1회 재송신 시도가 시도되는 송신기 동작 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 송신기는 기지국이고, 상기 수신기는 이동국인 송신기 동작 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 송신기는 이동국이고, 상기 수신기는 기지국인 송신기 동작 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 링크층은 무선 링크 프로토콜층을 포함하는 송신기 동작 방법.
- 무선 링크를 통해 무선 송신기로부터 데이타를 수신하도록 동작하는 무선 수신기에 있어서,안테나와,상기 안테나와 연결된 무선 주파수 유닛과,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러인지를 판정하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러이면, 상기 무선 송신기로 성공적인 수신을 확인통지하고, 상기 물리층 프레임으로부터 패킷 데이타 유닛을 추출하고, 상기 무선 수신기 상에서 동작하는 링크층에 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 전달하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임이 무에러가 아니면, 상기 무선 송신기로 성공적인 수신을 부정적으로 확인통지하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 무선 링크를 통해 상기 무선 송신기로부터 물리층 프레임을 수신하는 단계; 및다른 패킷 데이타 유닛이 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛인지를 판정하는 단계와,상기 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛을 위한 상기 물리층에서의 에러 복구 동작의 시간에 해당하는 지연 시간 동안 상기 링크층에서 상기 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛을 위한 자동 재송신 요청 동작을 지연시키는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 무선 수신기 상에서 동작하는 상기 링크층에 의해, 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 수신하는 단계를 패킷 데이타 유닛 수신 단계를 상기 무선 수신기가 수행하게 하는 소프트웨어 명령을 실행하며, 상기 무선 주파수 유닛과 연결된 적어도 하나의 디지탈 프로세서를 포함하는 무선 수신기.
- 제11항에 있어서, N이 자연수일 때 상기 지연 시간은 상기 손실된 패킷 데이타 유닛을 포함하는 물리층 프레임을 성공적으로 수신하기 위한 N회 시도에 해당하는 무선 수신기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 패킷 데이터 유닛이 손실되었는지 여부를 판정하는 단계는, 수신된 패킷 데이타 유닛의 시퀀스 번호를 예상 패킷 데이타 유닛의 시퀀스 번호와 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 무선 수신기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 링크층은 무선 링크 프로토콜층을 포함하는 무선 수신기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 무선 수신기는 이동국이고, 상기 무선 송신기는 기지국인 무선 수신기.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 무선 수신기는 기지국이고, 상기 무선 송신기는 이동국인 무선 수신기.
- 무선 링크를 통해 무선 수신기로 데이타를 송신하도록 동작하는 무선 송신기에 있어서,안테나와,상기 안테나와 연결된 무선 주파수 유닛과,상기 무선 수신기 상에서 동작하는 링크층으로부터 상기 무선 수신기 상에서 동작하는 물리층으로 패킷 데이타 유닛을 전달하는 단계와,상기 패킷 데이타 유닛을 물리층 프레임으로 패킷화하는 단계와,상기 무선 링크를 통해 상기 무선 수신기로 상기 물리층 프레임을 송신하는 단계와,상기 무선 수신기로부터 상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신 표시를 대기하는 단계와,상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신의 표시가 수신되지 않을 때, 상기 물리층 프레임의 재송신을 개시하는 단계와,적어도 하나의 재송신 시도 후에 상기 물리층 프레임의 성공적인 수신 표시가 수신되지 않을 때, 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛이 손실되었음을 상기 링크층에 통지하는 단계와,손실된 상기 패킷 데이타 유닛에 대한 에러 복구 동작을 상기 링크층이 개시하게 하는 단계를 상기 무선 수신기가 수행하게 하는 소프트웨어 명령을 실행하며, 상기 무선 주파수 유닛과 연결된 적어도 하나의 디지탈 프로세서를 포함하는 무선 송신기.
- 제17항에 있어서, N이 자연수일 때 상기 물리층 프레임의 N-1 재송신 시도가 시도되는 무선 송신기.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 링크층은 무선 링크 프로토콜층을 포함하는 무선 송신기.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 무선 송신기는 기지국이고, 상기 무선 송신기는 이동국인 무선 송신기.
