Claims (2)
- 화상 데이터를 N 화소×M 화소의 타일로 분할하고, 각 타일에 대응하는 부호화 대상 데이터로서, 타일 내의 N 화소×M 화소를 출력하는 단계와,상기 각 타일에 대응하는 부호화 대상 데이터의 주위에 소정의 데이터를 외삽하여 서브 밴드 분할을 행하고, 각 타일을 각각 독립적으로 웨이브릿 부호화하는 단계와,임의의 타일을 독립하여, 상기 서브 밴드 단위로 복호하기 위한 관리 정보를 생성하는 단계와,상기 관리 정보를 부호화 정보에 부가하여, 비트 스트림을 생성하는 단계를 구비하고,상기 관리 정보는, 각 타일의 부호화 정보의 비트 스트림 상에서의 위치를 나타내는 정보와, 각 서브 밴드를 관리·식별하는 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 부호화 방법.
- 화상 데이터를 N 화소×M 화소의 타일로 분할하고, 각 타일을 각각 독립하여 서브 밴드 분할하여 웨이브릿 부호화한 부호화 정보와, 임의의 타일을 서브 밴드 단위로 복호하기 위한 관리 정보로 된 비트 스트림을 복호하는 화상 복호 방법에 있어서,상기 비트 스트림으로부터 상기 관리 정보를 분리하는 단계와,상기 부호화 정보에 대하여 서브 밴드 단위로 웨이브릿 복호를 행하는 단계와,상기 웨이브릿 복호된 임의의 타일의 복호 화상을 연결하여 소망의 복호 화상을 얻는 단계를 구비하고,상기 관리 정보는, 각 타일의 부호화 정보의 비트 스트림 상에서의 위치를 나타내는 정보와, 각 서브 밴드를 관리·식별하는 정보를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 복호 방법.
