Claims (37)
- 주입 장치에 있어서,캐뉼라(cannulae) 본체로 연결되는 기단부 및 원단부와, 상기 기단부로부터 상기 원단부를 통과하여 물질 도관(material conduit)으로서 작용할 수 있는 루멘(lumen)을 구비하는 딜리버리 캐뉼라(delivery cannulae)와;상기 루멘을 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 긴 플런저(plunger); 및상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에는 일체형으로 형성된 핸들 유지 부재(handle retention member)가 제공되며, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에 부착 고정시키도록 구성된 제거가능한 핸들을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,긴 가이드 와이어(guide wire) 본체로 연결되는 제1끝단부와 제2끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 제1끝단부는 피질골(cortical bone)을 통해 채널을 형성하기에 충분하도록 상기 피질골을 뚫을 수 있는 테이퍼(taper)로 구성되어 있는 긴 가이드 와이어; 및그리핑 끝단부(gripping end) 및 테이퍼진 끝단부를 구비하는 정렬 캐뉼라(aligning cannulae)를 더욱 포함하여 이루어지며, 상기 정렬 캐뉼라는 상기가이드상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있으며, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라는 상기 정렬 캐뉼라상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 가이드 와이어는 상기 가이드 와이어 본체상에 눈금 표시(graduated indicia)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라는 상기 캐뉼라 본체상에 눈금 표시를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 플런저는 그리핑 부재를 구비하는 제1끝단부를 포함하고, 상기 제1끝단부는 매끄럽고 무딘 선단을 갖는 제2끝단부에 플런저 본체로 연결되며, 상기 그리핑 부재는 상기 플런저와 축방향으로 정렬된 스위블 조인트(swivel joint)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 가이드 와이어의 상기 제2끝단부는 그리핑 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 정렬 캐뉼라는 상기 무딘 끝단부상에 결이난 표면(textured surface)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라는 상기 원단부상에 고정 에지(securing edge)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 플런저는 매끄럽고 무딘 선단부에 대해 플런저 본체로 연결되는 플런저 그리핑 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라 루멘과 연통되고, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라에 연결되는 주사기 시스템(syringe system)을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 주사기 시스템은 루어 로크(Luer lock), 베이어닛 핏팅(bayonetfitting) 및 유압식 퀵 디스커넥트 핏팅(hydraulic quick disconnect fitting)으로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택된 커넥터에 의하여 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라에 제거가능하게 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 커넥터는 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부와 일체로 형성되며, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라 본체의 길이방향축선과 정렬되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 주사기 시스템은 가요성 도관(flexible conduit)으로 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 가이드 와이어는 부착된 길이방향으로 정렬된 루어 로크 커넥터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 14항에 있어서,상기 핸들은 상기 가이드 와이어의 상기 루어 로크 커넥터에 해제가능하게 맞물리도록 구성된 루어 로크를 포함하며, 상기 핸들은 상기 핸들의 각 끝단부에서개방하는 길이방향으로 정렬된 루멘을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 11항에 있어서,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 커넥터는 루어 로크이고, 상기 핸들은 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 루어 로크 커넥터에 해제가능하게 맞물리도록 구성된 루어 로크를 포함하며, 상기 핸들은 상기 핸들의 각 끝단부에서 개방하는 길이방향으로 정렬된 루멘을 더 포함하고, 상기 핸들 루멘은 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 루멘과 연통되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 핸들은 상기 핸들 루멘의 관찰(viewing)을 허용하도록 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 관찰 슬롯(view slot)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 핸들은 상기 핸들 루멘에 수직으로 상기 핸들을 통과하는 제1클리어런스구멍을 더 포함하고, 상기 제1클리어런스구멍은 상기 가이드 와이어를 슬라이딩가능하게 수용하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 18항에 있어서,상기 핸들은 상기 핸들 루멘에 수직으로 상기 핸들을 통과하는 제2클리어런스구멍을 더 포함하고, 상기 제2클리어런스구멍은 상기 정렬 캐뉼라를 슬라이딩가능하게 수용하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 16항에 있어서,상기 핸들은 제거가능한 근거리 루어 로크 끝단부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 10항에 있어서,상기 주사기 시스템은 자동화된 임펠링 유닛(impelling unit)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 21항에 있어서,상기 자동화된 임펠링 유닛은 상기 주사기 시스템의 기구의 이동속도 및 이동량을 제어할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 22항에 있어서,상기 자동화된 임펠링 유닛은 압력 감지 유닛을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 장치는 스테인레스 강, 양극처리된 알루미늄, 열가소성 수지 및 유리로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택된 물질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라 루멘은 다수의 루멘을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,긴 가이드 와이어 본체로 연결되는 제1끝단부와 제2끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 제1끝단부는 피질골을 통해 채널을 형성하기에 충분하도록 피질골을 뚫을 수 있는 테이퍼로 구성되어 있는 긴 가이드 와이어를 더 포함하고,상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라는 상기 가이드 와이어상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 주입가능한 물질과 결합하는 주입 장치에 있어서,긴 가이드 와이어 본체로 연결되는 제1끝단부와 제2끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 제1끝단부는 피질골을 통해 채널을 형성하기에 충분하도록 피질골을 뚫을 수 있는 테이퍼로 구성되어 있는 긴 가이드 와이어;그리핑 끝단부 및 테이퍼진 끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 가이드 와이어상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 정렬 캐뉼라;캐뉼라 본체로 연결되는 기단부 및 원단부와, 상기 기단부로부터 상기 원단부를 통과하여 물질 도관으로서 작용할 수 있는 루멘을 구비하며, 상기 정렬 캐뉼라상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 딜리버리 캐뉼라;상기 루멘을 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 긴 플런저;상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에는 일체형으로 형성된 핸들 유지 부재가 제공되며, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에 부착 고정시키도록 구성된 제거가능한 핸들; 및상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 루멘에 제공되어, 상기 플런저의 제어된 이동에 따라, 상기 루멘을 통해 흐르도록 하는 점도(consistency)로 되어 있는 주입가능한 물질을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 제 25항에 있어서,상기 주입가능한 물질은, 골 접합제(bone cement), 항생물질, 세포 이식 (cellular implants), 세포 재조합 핵산 생성물의 천연 생성물, 재조합 세포의 단백질 생성물로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 주입 장치.
- 골내의 주입 장치에 있어서,긴 가이드 와이어 본체로 연결되는 제1끝단부와 제2끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 제1끝단부는 피질골을 통해 채널을 형성하기에 충분하도록 피질골을 뚫을 수 있는 테이퍼로 구성되어 있는 긴 가이드 와이어;그리핑 끝단부 및 테이퍼진 끝단부를 구비하며, 상기 가이드 와이어상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 정렬 캐뉼라;캐뉼라 본체로 연결되는 기단부 및 원단부와, 상기 기단부로부터 상기 원단부를 통과하여 물질 도관으로서 작용할 수 있는 루멘을 포함하며, 상기 정렬 캐뉼라상을 외주방향으로 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 딜리버리 캐뉼라와;상기 루멘을 슬라이딩가능하게 통과하기 위한 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 긴 플런저; 및상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에는 일체형으로 형성된 핸들 유지 부재가 제공되고, 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 상기 기단부에 부착 고정시키도록 구성된 제거가능한 핸들을 포함하여 이루어지는 골내의 주입 장치.
- 대상체에 주입가능한 물질을 도입시키는 방법에 있어서,골내에 있거나 골에 인접한 대상체의 딜리버리 사이트(delivery site)에 딜리버리 캐뉼라를 도입시키는 단계; 및상기 딜리버리 사이트내로 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라를 통해 물질을 삽입시키는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 삽입시키는 단계는 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라내에서 이동되는 플런저의 구동에 의해 달성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 대상체에 주입가능한 물질을 도입시키는 방법에 있어서,상기 대상체의 피질골을 통해 가이드 와이어를 도입시키는 단계;상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라의 길이로 연장되어 있는 루멘을 구비하는 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라를, 상기 피질골에 접촉할 때까지, 상기 가이드 와이어상의 외주방향으로 도입시키는 단계;상기 대상체로부터 상기 가이드 와이어를 제거하는 단계;상기 루멘내에 주입가능한 물질을 주입시키는 단계; 및상기 루멘을 통해 상기 주입가능한 물질에 힘을 가하면서, 상기 루멘내의 공기가 상기 플런저를 인접하여 지나 새어 나가도록 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 플런저의 상기 루멘내에서의 이동에 의하여 상기 대상체의 골내에 상기 주입가능한 물질을 주입시키는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 대상체에 주입가능한 물질을 도입시키는 방법에 있어서,상기 대상체의 피질골을 통해 가이드 와이어를 도입시키는 단계;정렬 캐뉼라가 상기 피질골에 접촉할 때까지, 상기 가이드 와이어상의 외주방향으로 상기 정렬 캐뉼라를 도입시키는 단계;루멘을 구비하는 상기 딜리버리 캐뉼라를, 상기 피질골에 접촉할 때까지, 상기 정렬 캐뉼라상의 외주방향으로 도입시키는 단계;상기 대상체로부터 상기 가이드 와이어 및 상기 정렬 캐뉼라를 제거하는 단계;상기 루멘내에 주입가능한 물질을 주입시키는 단계; 및상기 루멘을 통해 상기 주입가능한 물질에 힘을 가하면서, 상기 루멘내의 공기가 상기 플런저를 인접하여 지나 새어 나가도록 크기 및 구성으로 되어 있는 플런저의 상기 루멘내에서의 이동에 의하여 상기 대상체의 골내에 상기 주입가능한 물질을 주입시키는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,상기 가이드 와이어 도입 단계는 후측방 접근술, 편측방 접근술, 양측방 접근술 및 측방 피질골내 관통 접근술로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택된 접근술을 통해 상기 대상체의 척수골의 본체내로 도입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 31항에 있어서,상기 가이드 와이어 도입 단계는 후방 접근술을 통해 대상체의 척수골의 본체내로 도입되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 주입가능한 물질을 대상체에 도입시키는 키트(kit)에 있어서,제 1항에 따른 주입 장치; 및골 접합제, 항생물질, 전체 세포 이식, 세포의 천연 생성물, 재조합 핵산 생성물 및 재조합 세포의 단백질 생성물로 구성되는 그룹으로부터 선택된 주입가능한 물질을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 키트.
- 제 35항에 있어서,상기 주입가능한 물질은 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(polymethylmethacrylate)인 것을 특징으로 하는 키트.
- 제 35항에 있어서,상기 주입 장치에 연결하기 위한 주사기; 및상기 키트를 수납하고, 선반에서 내려서 사용하기에 적합하며, 무균 운반을 위하여 포장되는 콘테이너를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 키트.
