Description
Claims (12)
- 안테나 시스템에 있어서,RF 입력 포트; RF 검출기 포트; 상기 RF 검출기 포트에 접속되는 RF 검출기; 및 안테나 소자 포트를 가지는 교정 시스템;복수의 어레이 포트 및 복수의 빔 포트를 가지는 빔형성 네트워크;복수의 안테나 소자;상기 안테나 소자 중 대응되는 하나의 안테나 소자와 상기 어레이 포트 중 대응되는 하나의 어레이 포트 사이에 각각 접속되는 복수의 송신/수신 모듈; 및상기 빔형성 네트워크 및 빔형성 네트워크에 접속되는 상기 송신/수신 모듈 중 하나를 통해 상기 각 안테나 소자를 (a) 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 검출기 포트; 또는, (b) 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 RF 입력 포트 중 어느 하나를 선택하여 차례로 접속시키는 스위치부를 포함하고,상기 스위치부는 상기 안테나 소자 중 특정된 하나의 안테나 소자를 (a) 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 교정 시스템의 RF 입력; 또는, (b) 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 검출기 포트 중 어느 하나를 선택하여 접속시키는 스위치를 포함하는안테나 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 특정된 하나의 안테나 소자가 상기 복수의 안테나 소자의 주변 영역 근처에 배치되는 안테나 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 복수의 송신/수신 모듈에 대해 이득 및 위상 제어 신호를 생성하도록 하는 빔 조종 명령 신호에 응답하는 빔 조종 컴퓨터를 포함하고,상기 빔 조종 명령이, 상기 빔 조종 컴퓨터 내에 저장되고 상기 RF 검출기에 의해 생성되는 신호에 응답하여 산출되는 이득 및 위상 교정 데이터에 의해 변경되는 안테나 시스템.
- 복수의 안테나 소자, 복수의 어레이 포트 및 복수의 빔 포트를 가지는 빔형성 네트워크; 및 상기 복수의 어레이 포트 중 대응되는 하나의 어레이 포트 및 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 대응되는 하나의 안테나 소자에 각각 접속되는 복수의 송신/수신 모듈을 포함하는 안테나 시스템을 교정하는 방법에 있어서,RF 입력 포트; RF 검출기 포트; 상기 RF 검출기 포트에 접속되는 RF 검출기; 및 안테나 소자 포트를 가지는 교정 시스템을 제공하는 단계;상기 빔형성 네트워크 및 빔형성 네트워크에 접속되는 상기 송신/수신 모듈 중 하나를 통해 상기 각 안테나 소자를 (a) 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 검출기 포트; 또는, (b) 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 RF 입력 포트 중 어느 하나를 선택하여 차례로 접속시키는 단계; 및상기 안테나 소자 중 특정된 하나의 안테나 소자를 (a) 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 RF 시험 입력; 또는, (b) 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 검출기 포트 중 어느 하나를 선택하여 접속시키는 단계를 포함하는 안테나 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 특정된 하나의 안테나 소자가 상기 복수의 안테나 소자의 주변 영역 근처에 배치되는 안테나 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 시스템이 상기 복수의 송신/수신 모듈에 대해 이득 및 위상 제어 신호를 생성하도록 하는 빔 조종 명령 신호에 응답하는 빔 조종 컴퓨터를 포함하고,상기 빔 조종 컴퓨터 내에 저장되고 상기 RF 검출기에 의해 생성되는 신호에 응답하여 산출되는 이득 및 위상 교정 데이터에 의해 상기 빔 조종 명령을 변경하는 단계를 포함하는안테나 시스템 교정 방법.
- 복수의 송신/수신 모듈을 통해 빔형성 네트워크에 접속되는 복수의 안테나 소자를 가지는 안테나 위상 시스템을 교정하는 방법에 있어서,수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 하나의 제1 특정 안테나 소자로 무선 주파수 에너지 시험 신호를 송신하는 단계;수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자 중 상기 제1 특정 안테나로부터 송신된 에너지를 다른 안테나 소자에 접속시키는 단계;상기 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자 중 제1 선택 안테나 소자에 접속되는 에너지의 일부분을 상기 빔형성 네트워크를 통해 검출기로 전달하는 단계;송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크를 통해 전달되는 경로를 통해 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 제2 선택 안테나 소자로 무선 주파수 에너지 시험 신호를 송신하는 단계;송신 교정 모드 동안에 상기 안테나 소자 중 제2 선택 안테나로부터 송신되는 에너지를 다른 안테나 소자에 접속시키는 단계;상기 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자 중 제2 특정 안테나 소자에 접속되는 에너지의 일부분을 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 검출기로 전달하는 단계; 및상기 검출기로 전달되는 무선 주파수 에너지의 진폭 및 위상을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 시스템이 상기 복수의 송신/수신 모듈에 대해 이득 및 위상 제어 신호를 생성하도록 하는 빔 조종 명령 신호에 응답하는 빔 조종 컴퓨터를 포함하고,상기 빔 조종 컴퓨터 내에 저장되고 상기 RF 검출기에 의해 생성되는 신호에 응답하여 산출되는 이득 및 위상 교정 데이터에 의해 상기 빔 조종 명령을 변경하는 단계를 포함하는안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 안테나 소자 중 제1 특정 안테나 소자가 상기 안테나 소자 중 제2 특정 안테나 소자이고, 상기 안테나 소자 중 제1 선택 안테나 소자가 상기 안테나 소자 중 제2 선택 안테나 소자인 안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
- 복수의 어레이 송신/수신 모듈 중 대응되는 하나의 어레이 송신/수신 모듈을 통해 빔형성 네트워크의 복수의 어레이 포트 중 대응되는 하나의 어레이 포트에 각각 접속되는 복수의 안테나 소자를 가지는 안테나 위상 시스템을 교정하는 방법에 있어서,수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 안테나 소자 중 제1 특정 안테나 소자로 무선 주파수 에너지 시험 신호를 송신하는 단계;상기 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자 중 상기 제1 특정 안테나 소자로부터 전송되는 에너지를 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 다른 안테나 소자에 접속시키는 단계;상기 수신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자 중 다른 안테나 소자에 접속되는 무선 주파수 에너지의 일부분을 상기 빔형성 네트워크를 통해 전달되는 경로를 통해 검출기로 접속하도록 상기 어레이 송신/수신 모듈을 각각 차례로 활성화시키는 단계;송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크를 통해 전달되는 경로를 통해 무선 주파수 에너지 시험 신호를 상기 안테나 소자 중 활성화된 안테나 소자에 접속되는 안테나 소자에 접속하도록 상기 어레이 송신/수신 모듈을 각각 차례로 활성화시키는 단계;상기 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 안테나 소자로부터 송신된 에너지를 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 제2 특정 안테나 소자로 접속시키는 단계;상기 송신 교정 모드 동안 상기 빔형성 네트워크로부터 분리된 경로를 통해 상기 안테나 소자 중 제2 특정 안테나 소자에 접속된 에너지를 상기 검출기에 접속시키는 단계; 및상기 검출기에 접속되는 무선 주파수 에너지의 진폭 및 위상을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 시스템이 상기 복수의 송신/수신 모듈에 대해 이득 및 위상 제어 신호를 생성하도록 하는 빔 조종 명령 신호에 응답하는 빔 조종 컴퓨터를 포함하고,상기 빔 조종 컴퓨터 내에 저장되고 상기 RF 검출기에 의해 생성되는 신호에 응답하여 산출되는 이득 및 위상 교정 데이터에 의해 상기 빔 조종 명령을 변경하는 단계를 포함하는안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서,상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 제1 특정 안테나 소자가 상기 복수의 안테나 소자 중 제2 특정 안테나 소자인 안테나 위상 시스템 교정 방법.
