Claims (7)
- 상위 장치로부터 발생된, 자기 디스크 매체로부터 원하는 데이터를 판독하기 위한 판독 명령을 입력하는 단계와,판독 처리에서 에러가 발생하여, 재시도 처리를 행하는 단계와,재시도 처리로 판독가 구제되는 단계와,구제된 데이터를 백업 영역에 저장하는 단계를 포함하는 판독의 자동 교체 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상위 장치로부터 발생한, 자기 디스크 매체에 데이터를 기입하는 취지의 라이트 명령을 입력하는 단계와,자기 디스크 매체에 데이터를 기입하는 단계와,백업 영역에 데이터를 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하는 판독의 자동 교체 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 각 단계가 기재의 순서대로 수행되는 판독의 자동 교체 방법.
- 상위 장치로부터 발생한, 자기 디스크 매체로부터 원하는 데이터를 판독하는 취지의 판독 명령을 입력하는 단계와,판독 처리에서 에러가 발생하여, 재시도 처리를 행하는 단계와,자연수 N1, N2, N3 사이에, N1 〉 N2 〉 N3 〉 0의 관계가 있을 때, 상기 재시도 처리의 회수에 따라서, 다음 세 개 중 하나를 행하는 단계와,1) 상기 재시도 처리의 횟수가, 제1 임계치 N1과 동일할 때, 판독 처리 불능을 상위 장치로 보고하는 단계,2) 상기 재시도 처리 횟수가, 제2 임계치 N2 보다 크고, 제1 임계치 N1에 만족할 때, 재시도 처리에서 판독한 데이터를 교체 영역에 기입하는 단계,3) 상기 재시도 처리의 횟수가, 제3 임계치 N3보다 크고, 제2 임계치 N2 이하일 때, 재시도 처리에서 판독한 데이터를 백업 영역에 기입하는 단계를 포함하는 판독의 자동 교체 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 백업된 섹터가 판독 불능이라고 판단되는 단계와,백업된 데이터를 상위 장치에 발하는 단계를 더 포함하는 판독의 자동 교체 방법.
- 상위 장치로부터의 데이터를 저장하는 자기 디스크 매체와,상위 장치와 자기 디스크 매체 사이의 데이터 및 커맨드의 교환을 제어하는 하드 디스크 컨트롤러와,결함 섹터가 발생한 경우에 결함 섹터의 어드레스와, 백업의 섹터의 어드레스를 저장하는 교체 정보 테이블 및 백업될의 섹터의 어드레스와, 백업의 섹터의 어드레스를 저장하는 백업 정보 테이블을 저장하는 영역를 포함하는 메모리와,판독 처리에서 에러가 발생하여, 재시도 처리를 행하는 경우에 있어서, 재시도 처리의 횟수에 따라서, 재시도 처리에서 판독한 데이터를 데이터의 본래의 저장 위치, 백업 영역 및 교체 영역에 기입하는 기능를 갖는 마이크로 프로세서를 포함하는 자기 디스크 장치
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 마이크로프로세서는 상기 교체 영역으로 이전해야 하는 데이터의 후보를, 판독 에러에 수반하여 행해지는 재시도 동작의 횟수를 참조하여 추출하고,일시적 저장 영역인 백업 영역에 저장하고,그 후의 재시도 횟수로부터, 교체 영역으로 교체를 행할 때의 우선 순위를 동적으로 결정하고 있는 자기 디스크 장치.
