Claims (10)
- 휴대용 데이터 장치(portable data device)로 전력 신호(power signal)를 전달하기 위한 안테나 회로를 포함하는 데이터 통신 단말(data communications terminal)에서 사용되는 방법에 있어서,모니터된 임피던스 특성을 생성하기 위해서 상기 안테나 회로에 대한 임피던스 특성을 모니터하는 단계,상기 모니터된 임피던스 특성의 변화를 검출하는 단계, 및상기 검출 단계에 응답하여 상기 전력 신호의 전력 레벨을 조절하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안테나 회로는 제1 노드와 제2 노드 사이에서 동작 가능하게(operably) 결합되고, 상기 모니터 단계는 상기 제1 노드와 상기 제2 노드에 걸리는 전압 레벨을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안테나 회로는 제1 노드와 제2 노드 사이에서 동작 가능하게 결합되고, 상기 모니터 단계는 상기 제1 노드와 상기 제2 노드 사이에 흐르는 전류 레벨을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모니터 단계는 상기 모니터된 임피던스 특성으로부터 임피던스를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 통신 단말은 안테나에 대하여 동작 가능하게 결합된 양방향 결합기를 더 포함하고, 상기 모니터 단계는 상기 양방향 결합기로부터 반사 계수를 측정하여 측정된 반사 계수로부터 임피던스를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 데이터 통신 단말에 있어서,전력 증폭기(power amplifier), 및상기 전력 증폭기에 대하여 동작 가능하게 결합되고 제1 노드와 제2 노드 사이에 배치된 안테나 회로,상기 제1 및 제2 노드 중의 최소한 하나에 대하여 동작 가능하게 결합된 모니터 회로, 및상기 모니터 회로에 결합된 입력 및 상기 전력 증폭기에 결합된 출력을 구비한 전력 조절 회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 단말.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 전력 증폭기는 D 등급 전력 증폭기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 단말.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 안테나 회로는 두 개의 공진 커패시터(resonating capacitors) 및 그 사이에 배치된 코일(coil)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 단말.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 모니터 회로는 상기 제1 및 제2 노드를 통해 상기 안테나 회로에 대하여 동작 가능하게 결합된 차동 증폭기(differential amplifier)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 단말.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 모니터 회로는 상기 안테나 회로를 통해 흐르는 전류를 측정하기 위한 변환기 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이터 통신 단말.
