Claims (5)
- 두 개 세트 이상의 마주보는 코일(opposing coil)을 포함하는 어레이 코일(array coil)에 있어서,각각의 세트는 코일 표면이 인접 코일의 코일 표면과 부분적으로 중첩되는 서로 마주보는 한 쌍의 코일로 구성되고, 상기 마주보는 코일은 전체적으로 실린더 모양으로 조립되도록 가상 실린더(imaginary cylinder)의 중심 축 주변에 배치되는 어레이 코일.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,4 세트의 상기 마주보는 코일을 포함하되, 각각의 세트는 오목한 표면이 서로 마주 보고 코일 표면이 인접 코일의 코일 표면과 코일 표면 영역의 약 10% 만큼 중첩되는 한 쌍의 홈통 모양(gutter-shaped)의 코일로 구성되며, 상기 홈통 모양의 코일은 전체적으로 원형 실린더 모양으로 조립되도록 45o의 각도 간격으로 가상 원형 실린더의 중심 축 주변에 배치되는 어레이 코일.
- 다수 세트의 마주보는 코일을 포함하는 어레이 코일에 있어서,각각의 세트는 코일 표면이 인접 코일의 코일 표면과 부분적으로 중첩되는 서로 마주보는 한 쌍의 평면 코일로 구성되고, 상기 평면 코일은 가상 선을 따라서 배치되는 어레이 코일.
- 제 2 항에서 인용된 어레이 코일 내의 마주보는 코일 세트에서 수신된 수신 신호를 처리하는 수신 신호 처리 회로에 있어서,제 1 그룹의 마주보는 코일 세트에 의해 수신된 수신 신호를 직교 합성(quadrature compounding)하는 제 1 직교 합성 수단과, 제 2 그룹의 마주보는 코일 세트에 의해 수신된 수신 신호를 직교 합성하는 제 2 직교 합성 수단과, 90o떨어져 있는 코일 세트를 한 그룹으로서 결합하여, 상기 4 세트의 마주보는 코일을 2 그룹으로 분류함으로써 정의되는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 그룹의 마주보는 코일 세트와, 상기 제 1 직교 합성 수단을 통과한 신호를 A-D 변환하는 제 1 변환 수단과, 상기 제 2 직교 합성 수단을 통과한 신호를 A-D 변환하는 제 2 변환 수단과, 상기 디지털화된 신호에 대해 디지털 연산을 실행하는 계산 수단을 포함하는 수신 신호 처리 회로.
- 제 1 내지 3 항 중 어느 항에 인용된 어레이 코일을 포함하거나, 제 2 항에 인용된 어레이 코일과 제 4 항에 인용된 수신 신호 처리 회로를 포함하는 자기 공명 영상(magnetic resonance imaging; MRI) 장치.
