Description
Claims (13)
- 전방 돌출 페룰을 갖는 형식인 광섬유 커넥터를 광학축을 따라 수용하는 리셉터클에 있어서,상기 광학축 상에서 삽입되는 광섬유 커넥터를 수용하기 위해 개방 단부를 갖는 하우징과,상기 개방 단부에 인접하여 하우징 상에 선회식으로 장착되고 상기 개방 단부를 개방 및 밀폐하기 위해 선회식으로 이동 가능하며, 밀폐될 때 광학축을 가로질러 연장되고, 삽입된 광섬유 커넥터에 의한 결합시에 광학축으로부터 선회 가능하고, 커넥터의 전방 돌출 페룰을 수용하기 위한 리세스 영역을 갖는 외부 커넥터 결합면을 구비하는 셔터 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 셔터 부재가 전체적으로 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 리세스 영역이 전체적으로 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 외부 커넥터 결합면이 적어도 상기 리세스 영역의 상부에 대해 방사상 외향 대면 돌출부를 형성하기 위해 단차 가공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 리세스 영역은 페룰이 광섬유 커넥터로부터 돌출되는 거리보다 약간 작은 깊이로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 광섬유의 단부를 종결짓는 정합 단부를 포함하는 광섬유 커넥터를 광학축을 따라 수용하는 리셉터클에 있어서,상기 광학축 상에서 삽입된 광섬유 커넥터의 정합 단부를 수용하기 위한 개방 단부를 갖는 하우징과,상기 개방 단부를 밀폐하고 개방하는 이동을 위해서 하우징에 장착되며, 밀폐 시에 광학축을 가로질러 연장되고, 커넥터의 삽입된 정합 단부에 의한 결합시 광학축으로부터 이동 가능하고, 섬유 단부를 보호하기 위해 광섬유의 종결 단부와 정렬되는 리세스 영역을 갖는 외부 커넥터 결합면을 구비하는 셔터 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 셔터 부재가 전체적으로 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 외부 커넥터 결합면이 적어도 상기 리세스 영역의 상부에 대해 방사상 외향 대면 돌출부를 형성하기 위해 단차 가공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 리셉터클.
- 광섬유의 단부를 종결짓는 전방 돌출 페룰을 갖는 광섬유 커넥터와,광학축을 따라 광섬유 커넥터를 수용하기 위해 개방 단부를 갖는 어댑터와,상기 개방 단부를 밀폐하고 개방하는 이동을 위해 어댑터에 장착되며, 밀폐될 때 광학축을 가로질러 연장되고, 삽입된 광섬유 커넥터에 의한 결합시 광학축으로부터 이동 가능하고, 셔터 부재와의 결합에 대해 섬유 단부를 보호하기 위해 광섬유의 종단부와 정렬되는 리세스 영역을 갖는 외부 커넥터 결합면을 구비하는 셔터 부재를 포함하는 광섬유 커넥터 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 셔터 부재가 전체적으로 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 커넥터 조립체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 리세스 영역이 전체적으로 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 커넥터 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 외부 커넥터 결합면이 적어도 상기 리세스 영역의 상부에 대해 방사상 외향 대면 돌출부를 형성하기 위해 단차 가공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 커넥터 조립체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 리세스 영역은 페룰이 광섬유 커넥터로부터 돌출되는 거리보다 약간 작은 깊이로 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 커넥터 조립체.
