Abstract
각각의 양극 및 음극은 시트형 집전체의 일면 또는 양면에 무지부를 포함하도록 활물질층이 도포되어 있는 구조로 이루어져 있으며,
상기 시트형 집전체의 무지부에는 집전체로부터 돌출된 형태로 전극 탭들이 형성되어 있고,
상기 양극 및 음극 중 적어도 하나의 시트형 집전체의 무지부에는 무지부와 무지부 상의 전극 탭 일부를 덮는 형태로 다공성의 부직포 테이프가 부착되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체 및 이를 포함하는 원통형 이차전지에 관한 것이다.

도 2는 본 발명의 하나의 실시예에 따른 젤리-롤형 전극조립체의 제조를 위한 전극에 대한 부분 평면도이다;
도 3은 도 2의 다공성 부직포 테이프의 A를 기준으로 한 단면도이다;
도 4는 도 2의 다공성 부직포 테이프의 B를 기준으로 한 단면도이다;
도 5는 또 다른 형태의 다공성 부직포 테이프의 부분 평면도이다;

Claims (18)
- 양극, 음극, 및 상기 양극과 음극 사이에 개재된 긴 시트 구조의 분리막이 권취되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체에 있어서,
각각의 양극 및 음극은 시트형 집전체의 일면 또는 양면에 무지부를 포함하도록 활물질층이 도포되어 있는 구조로 이루어져 있으며,
상기 무지부에는 상기 집전체로부터 돌출된 형태로 전극 탭들이 형성되어 있고,
상기 양극 및 상기 음극 중 적어도 하나의 무지부에는 상기 무지부와 상기 전극 탭 일부를 덮는 형태로 다공성의 부직포 테이프가 부착되어 있고,
상기 다공성 부직포 테이프는, 상기 무지부와 인접하는 활물질층의 일부를 덮는 형태로 부착되어 있으며,
상기 다공성 부직포 테이프는, 상기 시트형 집전체에 상기 활물질층이 도포되는 면과 마주보는 방향을 향해 부착되는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 부직포 테이프는, 활물질층 전체 면적의 0.5% 내지 10%를 덮는 크기로 부착되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 부직포 테이프는, 시트형 집전체의 폭에 대응하는 크기로 부착되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 부직포 테이프는, 다공성 기재의 일면에 점착층이 코팅되어 있는 구조로 이루어지고, 상기 점착층은, 시트형 집전체의 폭 방향으로 다공성 기재의 상단 및 하단에 각각 1 mm 내지 5 mm의 폭으로 코팅되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층은, 상단 및 하단에서 시트형 집전체의 길이방향으로 전체 코팅되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층은, 상단 및 하단으로부터 이격된 부위에 1 mm 내지 5 mm의 폭으로 코팅되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층은, 상단 및 하단으로부터 이격된 부위에는 일정한 모양을 가지며 100 ㎛ 내지 10 mm의 간격으로 패턴 코팅되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 상단 및 하단으로부터 이격된 부위는 상단 및 하단의 중심축에 대응하는 부위인 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 기재는 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트로 이루어진 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 기재는 30% 내지 80%의 기공도를 가지며, 평균 기공 직경은 1 ㎛ 내지 50 ㎛인 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 다공성 기재의 두께는 10 ㎛ 내지 200 ㎛인 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층은 아크릴레이트계 점착제로 이루어진 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층의 두께는 10 ㎛ 내지 100 ㎛인 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 점착층의 총 면적은 다공성 기재의 총 면적을 기준으로 1% 내지 20%인 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 무지부는 집전체 상에 평면적으로 활물질층/무지부/활물질층의 구조를 가지도록 형성되는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극 탭들은 시트형 집전체의 무지부에 용접으로 결합되어 있는 젤리-롤형 전극조립체.
- 제 1 항, 제3 항 내지 제 17 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전극조립체가 원통형의 금속전지케이스에 내장되어 있는 구조의 원통형 이차전지.
