Claims (14)
- 제1 전극;
상기 제1 전극 상에 제공되고, 복수의 발광 단위 및 서로 인접한 상기 발광 단위 사이에 위치하는 적어도 하나의 연결층을 갖는 발광부; 및
상기 발광부 상에 제공되는 제2 전극을 포함하고,
상기 연결층 각각은 p형 도펀트로 도핑된 p형 전하 생성층 및 n형 도펀트로 도핑된 n형 전하 생성층을 갖고,
상기 p형 전하 생성층이 상기 p형 도펀트의 농도가 상기 p형 전하 생성층과 상기 n형 전하 생성층 사이 계면에서 가장 높고, 상기 계면으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 낮아지는 농도 구배를 갖거나,
상기 n형 전하 생성층에 있어서, 상기 n형 도펀트의 농도가 상기 p형 전하 생성층과 상기 n형 전하 생성층 사이 계면에서 가장 낮고, 상기 계면으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 높아지는 농도 구배를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 p형 전하 생성층은 상기 p형 도펀트의 농도가 상기 p형 전하 생성층과 상기 n형 전하 생성층 사이 계면에서 가장 높고, 상기 계면으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 낮아지는 농도 구배를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 n형 전하 생성층은 상기 n형 도펀트의 농도가 상기 p형 전하 생성층과 상기 n형 전하 생성층 사이 계면에서 가장 낮고, 상기 계면으로부터 멀어짐에 따라 높아지는 농도 구배를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 p형 전하 생성층은 상기 n형 전하 생성층과의 계면에서 p형 도펀트를 7at% 내지 20at% 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 n형 전하 생성층은 상기 p형 전하 생성층과의 계면에서 n형 도펀트를 0.01at% 내지 5at% 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 p형 도펀트는 최저준위 비점유 분자궤도(Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital, LUMO)가 -5.0eV 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 n형 도펀트는 최고준위 점유 분자궤도(Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital, HOMO)가 -3.0eV를 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 전극은 양극이고, 상기 제2 전극은 음극인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 연결층은 상기 양극과 인접한 영역에 제공된 상기 n형 전하 생성층 및 상기 음극과 인접한 영역에 제공된 상기 p형 전하 생성층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 발광부는 각각 다른 파장의 광을 방출하는 서로 다른 발광 단위를 포함하고, 상기 발광부는 백색광을 방출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 발광부는 청색광을 방출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제11항에 있어서,
상기 발광부 상에 제공되고, 상기 청색광을 흡수하여 적색광 또는 녹색광을 방출할 수 있는 색변환층을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 발광 단위는 상기 연결층의 상기 p형 전하 생성층과 인접한 영역에 제공되는 정공 주입층 및 상기 연결층의 상기 n형 전하 생성층과 인접한 영역에 제공되는 전자 주입층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 p형 전하 생성층은 상기 p형 도펀트의 농도 구배를 갖고, 상기 n형 전하 생성층은 상기 n형 도펀트의 농도 구배를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 발광 소자.
