도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배기시스템에서 배기 매니폴드와 촉매컨버터를 분리하여 도시한 사시도이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시에에 따른 배기시스템에서 배기 매니폴드와 메쉬부재를 분리하여 도시한 사시도이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 배기시스템에서 배기 매니폴드와 메쉬부재를 조립하여 도시한 사시도이다.

본 발명에서 상기 링부(15)의 내측에 종, 횡으로 교차하도록 배치되어 격자형 구조를 이루도록 고정 설치된 상류측의 구획벽(16a)들과, 이 상류측의 구획벽(16a)들에 의해 구획된 유로공간(17)을 포함하는 구성을 상류측 구획벽 구조물이라 지칭할 수 있고, 상기 링부(15)의 내측에 종, 횡으로 교차하도록 배치되어 격자형 구조를 이루도록 고정 설치된 하류측의 구획벽(16b)들과, 이 하류측의 구획벽(16b)들에 의해 구획된 유로공간(17)을 포함하는 구성을 하류측 구획벽 구조물이라 지칭할 수 있다.

Claims (9)
- 엔진의 각 실린더에서 배출되는 배기가스를 모아서 전달하는 배기 매니폴드; 상기 배기 매니폴드의 출구부에 연결되어 배기 매니폴드로부터 유입되는 배기가스 중 유해물질을 저감하기 위한 촉매정화장치; 및 상기 배기 매니폴드와 상기 촉매정화장치 사이에 위치되어 배기가스가 통과하도록 설치되고, 배기가스가 통과하는 내측 유로단면상에서 종, 횡으로 교차하도록 배치되는 구획벽들을 가지는 메쉬부재를 포함하고,
상기 메쉬부재의 구획벽들은 배기가스가 부딪히면서 유도저항을 발생시켜 배기가스가 촉매정화장치의 촉매에 균일하게 유입되도록 유도하며,
상기 메쉬부재는,
링 형상을 가지는 링부;
상기 링부의 내측에 종, 횡으로 교차하도록 배치되어 격자형 구조를 이루도록 고정 설치된 구획벽들과, 상기 구획벽들에 의해 구획된 유로공간을 포함하는 상류측 구획벽 구조물; 및
상기 링부의 내측에 종, 횡으로 교차하도록 배치되어 격자형 구조를 이루도록 고정 설치된 구획벽들과, 상기 구획벽들에 의해 구획된 유로공간을 포함하는 하류측 구획벽 구조물을 포함하고,
상기 상류측 구획벽 구조물의 구획벽들과 하류측 구획벽 구조물의 구획벽들은,
배기가스 흐름방향을 기준으로 상류측과 하류측으로 2중으로 겹쳐져 배치되고,
서로 정해진 각도로 엇갈리게 배치되어, 상기 메쉬부재를 정면에서 보았을 때 상기 구획벽들에 의해 구획되는 각 유로공간이 삼각형의 형상을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.

상기 배기 매니폴드에서 배기가스가 각 런너들을 통과한 뒤 합류하는 부분인 합류부의 내측에 상기 메쉬부재가 설치되어, 상기 구획벽들이 상기 합류부의 내측에서 격자형 구조를 이루고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.

상기 링부와 구획벽들을 가지는 2개의 메쉬부재가 배기가스 흐름방향을 기준으로 상류측과 하류측에 2중으로 겹쳐져 배치되도록 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 촉매정화장치에서의 배압조절을 위한 제어신호를 출력하는 제어부; 및
상기 촉매정화장치의 배기가스 출구측에 설치되어 배압 조절을 위해 출구측 유로를 개폐하도록 구비되고 상기 제어부가 출력하는 제어신호에 따라 개폐작동이 제어되는 배압조절밸브를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.
- 청구항 7에 있어서,
상기 제어부는 엔진 냉간 시동시 촉매 웜업을 위한 촉매 가열(Catalyst Heating, CH) 구간 동안 배압조절밸브를 정해진 밸브 개도량까지 닫아주는 방향으로 제어하기 위한 제어신호를 출력하도록 설정된 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.
- 청구항 8에 있어서,
상기 제어부는 촉매 가열 구간 종료 후 엔진 시동 상태에서 밸브 개도량을 증가시켜 배압조절밸브를 열어주는 방향으로 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량용 배기시스템.
