Abstract
Description
도 1a 및 1b는 각각 본원에 기재된 바와 같은 대표적인 수송가능한 가스 시험 유닛의 단측면 및 배면을 도시한다.
도 2는 본원에 기재된 바와 같은 가스 시험 유닛에서 사용하기 위한 대표적인 생물반응기의 클로즈-업 단면을 도시하고 이들의 작동과 관련된 추가의 세부 사항을 제공한다.
도 3은 임의로 본원에 기재된 바와 같은 하나 이상의 처리 측정 후(예를 들어, 이의 순도를 증가시키는) 시험 C1-함유 기질이 생물학적 전환 공정을 위해 적합한지를 결정하기 위해, 본원에 기재된 바와 같은 가스 시험 유닛으로 수행될 수 있는 대표적 방법을 설명하는 흐름 차트이다.
도 1 내지 3은 관련된 기재내용 및/또는 원리의 설명을 제공하기 위한 것으로 이해될 수 있다. 설명 및 이해를 촉진시키기 위해, 단순화된 장비 및 공정 흐름은 도 1 및 2에 도시되고 상이한 장비의 상대적 치수은 필연적으로 스케일로 하지 않는다. 일부 밸브, 기기 장치 및 개시된 내용의 이해에 필수적이지 않은 다른 장비 및 시스템을 포함하는 세부 사항은 나타내지 않는다. 본원의 개시내용의 지식을 갖는 당업자에게 용이하게 자명한 바와 같이, 소정의 C1-함유 기질 및/또는 지역적 첨가물이 생물학적 전환 공정을 지지하는지를 시험하기 위한 장치 및 방법은 이들의 특정 용도에 의해 부분적으로 결정되는 구성 및 성분을 갖는다.
Claims (12)
- 하기를 포함하는 수직으로 연장하는 생물반응기 용기를 포함하는, 가스 시험 유닛에서 사용하기 위한 발효 유닛:
(i) 가스 주입구 포트 및 가스 출구 포트로서, 가스 주입구 포트는 수직으로 연장하는 생물반응기의 바닥 말단에 인접하여 위치되고, 가스성 C1-함유 기질을 생물반응기 용기로 공급하도록 구성되며, 가스 주입구 포트는 생물반응기 용기로 연장되고 생물반응기 내에 위치된 가스 분배 장치와 유체 통류하며, 가스 출구 포트는 생물반응기와 유체 통류하는 수직으로 연장하는 생물반응기 용기의 상부 말단에 인접하여 위치되고, 생물반응기 용기로부터 미반응된 C1-함유 기질을 포함하는 가스성 생성물을 인출하도록 구성되는, 가스 주입구 포트 및 가스 출구 포트;
(ii) 액체 주입구 포트 및 액체 출구 포트로서, 액체 주입구 포트는 가스 주입구 포트 아래에 위치되고 생물반응기 용기로 하나 이상의 C1-고정 미생물을 포함하는 배양 배지를 도입하도록 구성되며, 액체 출구 포트는 가스 주입구 포트 아래에 위치되고 생물반응기 용기로부터 액체 생성물을 인출하도록 구성되는, 액체 주입구 포트 및 액체 출구 포트; 및
(iii) 외부 액체 재활용 루프 및 액체 재활용 펌프로서, 액체 재활용 루프는 생물반응기 용기의 바닥 말단에 인접하여 위치된 출구 재활용 포트로부터 발효 브로쓰를 인출하고, 생물반응기 용기의 상부 말단에 인접하여 위치된 주입구 재활용 포트로 발효 브로쓰를 펌핑하도록 구성되고, 주입구 재활용 포트는 생물반응기 용기의 상부 말단 내부에 위치된 액체 분배 장치로 발효 브로쓰를 제공하도록 구성되는, 외부 액체 재활용 루프 및 액체 재활용 펌프. - 제1항에 있어서, 6 m3 미만의 용적을 갖는 컨테이너 내에 수용되는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제2항에 있어서, 컨테이너가 각각 1.8 미터 미만의 길이, 너비 및 높이 치수를 갖는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제2항에 있어서, 컨테이너가 길이, 너비 및 높이 치수 중 하나가 1.6 미터 미만이고, 그리고 길이, 너비 및 높이 치수 중 다른 2개는 1.3 미터 미만인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 액체 분배 장치가 샤워 헤드인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 재활용 루프가 염기성 중화제 공급원과 유체 통류하는 염기성 중화제 주입구 포트를 더 포함하는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 염기성 중화제 공급원과 유체 통류하는 염기성 중화제 주입구 포트를 더 포함하고, 상기 포트는 생물반응기 용기로 염기성 중화제를 공급하도록 구성되는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 가스 분배 장치가 스파저인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 가스 분배 장치가 생물반응기 용기의 바닥 25% 내에 위치되는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 가스 분배 장치가 생물반응기 용기의 바닥 10% 내에 위치되는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 가스 출구 포트가 생물반응기 용기의 상부 25%까지 연장되는 것인 발효 유닛.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 가스 출구 포트가 생물반응기 용기로 전혀 연장되지 않는 것인 발효 유닛.
