도 5는 도 1에 도시된 표시 영상의 평면 구성을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다.
도 6은 도 1에 도시된 제2 패널의 평면 구성을 개략적으로 도시한 도면이다.

Claims (16)
- 영상을 생성하는 복수 개의 화소 영역들 및 상기 화소 영역들 각각의 주변에 배치된 비화소 영역으로 구분되는 제1 패널;
상기 제1 패널 상에 배치되어 상기 영상을 N배 확대하는 렌즈부; 및
상기 렌즈부 상에 배치되어 상기 제1 패널보다 상기 N배 크고, 상기 화소 영역들 및 상기 비화소 영역이 상기 N배 확대된 형상을 기준으로, 상기 화소 영역들에 대응하는 복수 개의 비활성 영역들 및 상기 비활성 영역들 각각의 주변에 배치되어 상기 비화소 영역에 대응하는 활성 영역으로 구분되는 제2 패널을 포함하고,
상기 제2 패널은,
상기 활성 영역에 배치된 제1 전극을 포함하는 제1 기판;
상기 제1 전극과 마주보도록 배치되는 제2 전극을 포함하는 제2 기판; 및
상기 제1 기판 및 상기 제2 기판 사이에 배치된 광 투과 조절층을 포함하고, 상기 N은 1보다 큰 유리수인 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 영상을 상기 N배 확대한 표시 영상은,
상기 화소 영역들에 대응하는 복수 개의 영상 표시 영역들; 및
상기 영상 표시 영역들 각각의 주변에 배치되어 상기 비화소 영역에 대응하는 영상 비표시 영역을 포함하고,
상기 비활성 영역들은 상기 영상 표시 영역들에 오버랩하고, 상기 활성 영역은 상기 영상 비표시 영역에 오버랩하는 표시 장치. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 광 투과 조절층은 상기 비활성 영역들에서 광을 투과시키고, 상기 활성 영역에서 광 투과량을 조절하는 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 광 투과 조절층은 액정층을 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 기판의 하부에 배치되고, 상기 비활성 영역들과 오버랩하는 복수 개의 제1 오픈부들이 정의되고, 제1 편광축을 갖는 제1 편광판; 및
상기 제2 기판의 상부에 배치되고, 상기 비활성 영역들과 오버랩하는 복수 개의 제2 오픈부들이 정의되고, 제2 편광축을 갖는 제2 편광판을 더 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 편광축과 상기 제2 편광축은 서로 교차하고 상기 액정층은 VA 모드 액정을 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 편광축과 상기 제2 편광축은 서로 평행하고 상기 액정층은 TN 모드 액정을 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 액정층은 상기 제1 전극에 인가되는 제1 전압 및 상기 제2 전극에 인가되는 제2 전압의 전압차에 따라서 상기 활성 영역에서 광 투과율을 조절하고, 상기 제1 전압의 전압 레벨은 가변되고, 상기 제2 전압은 일정한 전압 레벨을 갖는 표시 장치. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 패널의 휘도를 검출하고, 상기 검출된 휘도에 따라서 상기 제1 전압의 상기 전압 레벨을 조절하는 제어부를 더 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는 상기 제1 패널의 휘도가 높을수록 상기 제1 전압과 상기 제2 전압의 전압 차가 커지도록 상기 제1 전압의 상기 전압 레벨을 제어하고,
상기 제1 전압과 상기 제2 전압의 상기 전압 차가 커질수록 상기 활성 영역에서 상기 광 투과 조절층의 상기 광 투과율은 높아지는 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 패널은 상기 화소 영역들 각각에 배치된 유기 발광 소자를 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 패널은 상기 비화소 영역에 배치되는 화소 정의막을 더 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 패널은 상기 화소 영역들 각각에 배치된 액정 표시 소자를 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 13 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 패널은 상기 비화소 영역에 배치된 블랙 매트릭스를 더 포함하는 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 전극은 상기 제2 기판에 전체적으로 배치되는 표시 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 전극은 상기 활성 영역에서 상기 제2 기판에 배치되는 표시 장치.
