Abstract
-X-L-Si(R1)n(OR2)(3-n) (I)
상기 화학식 (I)에서, L은 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 탄화수소 연결기이며; X는 황 원자 이외의 헤테로원자이며; n은 0, 1 또는 2이며; R1은 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼이고; R2는 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼 또는 2 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬알콕시 라디칼이며, 하나 이상의 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 중 적어도 5 몰%에서, 탄화수소 연결기 L은 메틸디일기(L1)이고, 하나 이상의 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 중 적어도 5 몰%에서, 탄화수소 연결기 L은 2 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 탄화수소 기(L2)이며, 상기 타이-코트 조성물은 가교제를 포함하지 않는다. 나아가, 본 발명은 이러한 타이-코트 조성물 및 탑코트 조성물을 적용하는 단계를 포함하는 인공 물체의 표면 상에서 수생(aquatic) 부착(fouling)을 조절하는 방법, 및 이러한 타이-코트 조성물로부터 증착된 타이-코트 층 및 탑코트 층으로 코팅된 기판에 관한 것이다.

Claims (16)
- 인공 물체의 표면 상에서 수생(aquatic) 부착(fouling)을 조절하는 방법으로서,
상기 방법은
- 인공 물체의 표면 상에 타이-코트 조성물(tie-coat)의 제1 층을 적용하는 단계;
- 타이-코트 조성물의 상기 제1 층 상에 축합성 실란기를 갖는 수지를 포함하는 탑코트 조성물의 제2 층을 적용하는 단계; 및
- 상기 제1 코팅층과 상기 제2 코팅층을 경화시키는 단계
를 포함하고,
상기 타이-코트 조성물은 에틸렌계 불포화(ethylenically unsaturated) 단량체들의 혼합물을 공중합함으로써 수득 가능한 하나 이상의 결합제 중합체를 포함하고,
상기 하나 이상의 결합제 중합체는 하기 화학식 (I):
-X-L-Si(R1)n(OR2)(3-n) (I)
(상기 화학식 (I)에서,
L은 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 탄화수소 연결기이고;
X는 황 원자 이외의 헤테로원자이며;
n은 0, 1 또는 2이고;
R1은 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼이며;
R2는 1 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼 또는 2 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬알콕시 라디칼임)
의 펜던트 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기를 포함하며,
하나 이상의 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 중 적어도 5 몰%에서, 상기 탄화수소 연결기 L은 메틸디일기(L1)이고,
하나 이상의 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 중 적어도 5 몰%에서, 상기 탄화수소 연결기 L은 2 내지 20개 탄소 원자를 갖는 탄화수소 기(L2)이며,
상기 타이-코트 조성물은 가교제를 포함하지 않는,
방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 연결기 L1을 갖는 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 : 상기 연결기 L2를 갖는 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기 사이의 몰비는 15:85 내지 75:25, 또는 20:80 내지 70:30 범위인, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 연결기 L2는 2 내지 6개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬디일기, 또는 프로필디일기인, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
R1 및 R2는 독립적으로 1 내지 6개 탄소 원자를 갖는 알킬 라디칼, 또는 메틸 또는 에틸 라디칼인, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
제1항에 따른 제1 결합제 중합체 및 제2 결합제 중합체를 포함하고,
상기 제1 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기는 연결기 L1을 갖고,
상기 제2 결합제 중합체에 포함된 경화성 알콕시실릴 작용기는 연결기 L2를 갖는, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체는 아크릴산 및/또는 메타크릴산의 에스테르, 또는 아크릴산 및/또는 메타크릴산의 C1-C16 에스테르인, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 하나 이상의 결합제 중합체는 독립적으로, 알콕시실릴 작용기를 갖는 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체와 알콕시실릴 작용기를 갖지 않는 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체의 혼합물을 공중합함으로써 수득 가능한 것인, 방법. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 알콕시실릴 작용기를 갖는 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체 : 상기 알콕시실릴 작용기를 갖지 않는 에틸렌계 불포화 단량체의 몰비는 5:95 내지 25:75인, 방법. - 삭제

상기 비-휘발성, 비-경화성 유체는 폴리(옥시알킬렌)-변형된 폴리실록산인, 방법. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
타이-코트 조성물의 제1 층이 적용되는 인공 물체의 표면 상에 노후화된(aged) 또는 손상된 코팅이 존재하는, 방법. - 타이-코트 층 및 탑코트 층으로 코팅된 기판으로서,
상기 타이-코트 층은 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에서 정의된 타이-코트 조성물로부터 증착되고,
상기 탑코트 층은 축합성 실란기를 갖는 수지를 포함하는 탑코트 조성물로부터 상기 타이-코트 층 상에 증착되는, 기판. - 제15항에 있어서,
상기 타이-코트 층은 노후화된 또는 손상된 코팅 상에 증착되는, 기판.
