Claims (16)
- 복수의 데이터라인과 복수의 게이트라인과 복수의 에미션라인과, 복수의 화소를 포함하는 디스플레이 패널;
상기 복수의 데이터라인에 데이터신호를 인가하는 데이터 드라이버;
상기 복수의 게이트라인과 상기 복수의 에미션라인에 각각 게이트신호와 에미션신호를 인가하는 게이트 드라이버; 및
상기 데이터드라이버와 상기 게이트 드라이버를 제어하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 포함하되,
상기 화소는,
데이터전압이 기입되는 제1기간과, 상기 데이터전압이 유지되고 상기 데이터전압 대응하여 구동전류를 공급하는 제2기간과, 상기 데이터전압이 유지되고 발광하지 않는 제3기간으로 동작하며,
상기 제2기간과 상기 제3기간의 길이의 비는 조절되고,
상기 화소는,
제1전극이 전원라인에 연결되고, 제2전극이 제3노드에 연결되며, 게이트전극이 제2노드에 연결되며, 상기 제2노드의 전압에 대응하여 상기 구동전류를 공급하는 제1트랜지스터;
제1전극이 상기 복수의 데이터라인 중 하나의 데이터라인에 연결되고, 제2전극이 제1노드에 연결되며, 게이트전극이 상기 복수의 게이트라인 중 하나의 게이트라인에 연결되는 제2트랜지스터;
제1전극은 상기 제1노드에 연결되고 제2전극은 상기 제2노드에 연결되며, 상기 제1기간에서 상기 제1노드를 통해 상기 데이터전압이 기입되고 상기 제2노드를 통해 상기 제1트랜지스터의 문턱전압이 기입되는 스토리지 캐패시터; 및
상기 제2기간에서 상기 구동전류를 공급받고, 상기 제3기간에서 상기 구동전류를 공급받지 않는 유기발광다이오드를 포함하고,
상기 화소는 상기 제2기간과 상기 제3기간 각각에서 상기 제1노드에 기준전압을 전달받고,
상기 화소는,
상기 제1기간에서 상기 데이터전압을 상기 제1노드에 전달하는 제2트랜지스터;
상기 제1기간에서 상기 제1트랜지스터의 문턱전압을 상기 제2노드에 공급하는 제3트랜지스터;
상기 제3기간에서 상기 기준전압을 상기 제1노드에 공급하는 제4트랜지스터;
상기 제2기간에서 상기 구동전류를 상기 유기발광다이오드에 공급하는 제5트랜지스터;
상기 제1기간에서 상기 기준전압을 상기 유기발광다이오드의 애노드전극에 공급하는 제6트랜지스터; 및
상기 구동전류는 상기 제1트랜지스터는 제1전극에서 제2전극으로 흐르고, 상기 제1기간에 상기 기준전압을 상기 제1트랜지스터의 제2전극과 연결된 제3노드에 공급하는 제7트랜지스터를 포함하는 유기 전계발광 표시장치.

상기 제1노드는 게이트신호에 대응하여 상기 데이터전압 또는 상기 기준전압이 공급되는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.

상기 구동전류가 상기 유기발광다이오드에 공급되는 시간의 길이를 조절하여 상기 화소의 휘도를 조절하는 유기전계발광표시장치의 구동방법.
