Abstract
Description
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 디젤 산화 촉매 (DOC) 워시코트 조성물을 포함할 수 있는 벌집형 기판 캐리어의 사시도이고;
도 2는 도 1에 나타낸 복수의 가스 유동 통로의 확대도를 나타내는, 도 1의 기판 캐리어의 단부면에 평행한 평면을 따라 취한 도 1에 비해 확대된 부분 단면도이고;
도 3은 본 발명의 DOC가 사용된 것인 배출물 처리 시스템의 한 실시양태의 개략도를 나타낸다.
Claims (23)
- 미립자 형태의 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속 및 미립자 형태의 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물을 포함하며,
여기서, 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물이 구리 산화물, 및 망가니즈 산화물, 철 산화물, 및 코발트 산화물로부터 선택되는 추가의 비귀금속 산화물이고,
비귀금속 산화물의 총 농도가, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 10 중량% 내지 50 중량%이고,
적어도 하나의 백금족 금속으로 함침된 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 및 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물로 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 혼합물의 형태로 존재하거나, 또는 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속 및 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물이 동일한 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침되도록 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 동일한 것인, 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물. - 제1항에 있어서, 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 동일하고, 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속이 백금 및 팔라듐 중 하나 또는 둘 다인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 및 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 혼합물 형태이며,
여기서, 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속이 백금 및 팔라듐 중 하나 또는 둘 다인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물. - 제3항에 있어서, 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 알루미나, 실리카-알루미나 또는 그의 조합이고, 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 알루미나, 실리카-알루미나, 세리아, 세리아-지르코니아 또는 그의 조합인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속의 농도가, 백금족 금속이 함침된 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 0.1 중량% 내지 10 중량%인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제5항에 있어서, 백금족 금속이 백금, 팔라듐 또는 그의 조합을 포함하는 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물이, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량%의 구리 농도로의 구리 산화물과, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량%의 총 비귀금속 농도로 존재하는 상기 하나 이상의 추가의 비귀금속 산화물을 포함하는 것인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 구리 대 추가의 비귀금속의 중량비가 1:5 내지 5:1인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 제7항에 있어서, 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 비귀금속 산화물이, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량% 구리, 5 중량% 내지 25 중량% 망가니즈, 및 임의로는 1 중량% 내지 10 중량%의 세륨을 포함하는 것인 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물.
- 가스 유동에 적합화된 복수의 채널을 갖는 촉매 기판을 포함하며, 각 채널은 워시코트가 배치된 벽 표면을 가지며, 여기서 워시코트는 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항의 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물을 포함하는 것인, 촉매 물품.
- 제10항에 있어서, 촉매 기판이 2개 층을 포함하며,
제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속을 포함하는 워시코트 및 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물을 포함하는 또 다른 워시코트가 촉매 기판 상의 2개 층에 개별적으로 코팅된 것인 촉매 물품. - 제10항에 있어서, 촉매 물품을 10% 스팀을 함유하는 유동 공기 중에서 800℃에서 16시간 동안 열수 에이징시키고, 60,000 h-1의 GHSV, 70℃ - 450℃의 온도 구간, 1℃/sec의 온도 경사율, 및 260 ppm CO, 150 ppm NO, C1 기준으로 460 ppm 총 탄화수소, 5% 스팀, 5% CO2 및 그 나머지는 공기인 시험 가스 조성의 실험실 반응기에서 라이트-오프(light-off) 시험에 적용한 경우, 촉매 물품이, 동일한 백금족 금속 로딩을 가지나 임의의 비귀금속 산화물은 갖지 않는 참조 디젤 산화 촉매를 포함하는 촉매 물품의 CO 산화에 대한 T50보다 30℃ 내지 65℃ 낮은, CO 산화에 대한 T50을 특징으로 하고 또한 촉매 물품이, 참조 디젤 산화 촉매를 포함하는 촉매 물품의 5℃ 이내의, HC 산화에 대한 T50을 특징으로 하는 것인 촉매 물품.
- 배기 스트림을 제10항에 따른 촉매 물품을 통해 통과시키고, 그에 따라 배기 스트림 내의 일산화탄소 및 탄화수소 가스가 촉매 물품 내에서 산화되는 것을 포함하는, 배기 스트림의 처리 방법.
- 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질을 백금족 금속의 하나 이상의 수용성 염으로 처리하여 제1 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질을 얻고;
제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질을 비귀금속의 하나 이상의 수용성 염으로 처리하여 제2 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질을 얻고,
여기서, 비귀금속이 구리, 및 망가니즈, 철, 및 코발트로부터 선택되는 추가의 비귀금속이고,
비귀금속 산화물의 총 농도가, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 10 중량% 내지 50 중량%이고,
제1 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질을 제2 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 조합하여 미립자 촉매 혼합물을 형성하는 것
을 포함하며, 여기서 비귀금속의 수용성 염 및 백금족 금속의 수용성 염의, 동일 용액 내에서의 조합은 피하여, 디젤 산화 촉매 조성물을 얻고,
여기서, 제1 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 제2 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 혼합물의 형태로 존재하거나; 또는
적어도 하나의 백금족 금속 및 적어도 하나의 비귀금속 산화물이 동일한 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침되도록 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 동일한 것인,
디젤 산화 촉매 조성물의 제조 방법. - 제14항에 있어서, 미립자 촉매 혼합물의 워시코트 슬러리를 형성하고; 각 채널이, 워시코트 슬러리가 피착되는 벽 표면을 갖는, 가스 유동에 적합화된 복수의 채널을 포함하는 촉매 기판 상에 워시코트 슬러리를 코팅하고; 촉매 물품을 하소시키는 것을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 제1 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질은 백금 및 팔라듐 중 하나 또는 둘 다로 함침되고, 제2 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질과 혼합된 것인 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서, 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 알루미나, 실리카-알루미나 또는 그의 조합이고, 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질이 알루미나, 실리카-알루미나, 세리아 또는 그의 조합인 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 백금족 금속의 농도가, 백금족 금속이 함침된 제1 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 0.1 중량% 내지 10 중량%인 방법.
- 제18항에 있어서, 백금족 금속이 백금, 팔라듐 또는 그의 조합을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 제2 함침된 다공성 내화성 산화물이, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량%의 구리 농도로의 구리 산화물과, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량%의 총 비귀금속 농도로 존재하는 하나 이상의 추가의 비귀금속 산화물을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 구리 대 추가의 비귀금속의 중량비가 1:5 내지 5:1인 방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질 상에 함침된 비귀금속 산화물이, 비귀금속 산화물이 함침된 제2 다공성 내화성 산화물 물질의 중량에 대하여 5 중량% 내지 25 중량% 구리, 5 중량% 내지 25 중량% 망가니즈, 및 임의로는 1 중량% 내지 10 중량%의 세륨을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- i) 배기 가스 스트림을 생성하는 디젤 엔진;
ii) 배기 가스 스트림과 유체 연통하게 위치되고 배기 스트림 내의 일산화탄소 및 탄화수소 가스를 산화시켜, 처리된 배기 가스 스트림을 형성하는데 적합화된 제10항에 따른 제1 촉매 물품; 및
iii) 제1 촉매 물품으로부터 하류에 있고 처리된 배기 가스 스트림과 유체 연통하는 적어도 하나의 추가의 촉매 물품으로서, 암모니아 산화, 미립자 여과, NOx 저장, NOx 트래핑, NOx의 선택적 촉매 환원 또는 그의 조합에 적합화된 적어도 하나의 추가의 촉매 물품
을 포함하는, 배기 가스 스트림의 처리를 위한 배출물 처리 시스템.
