Claims (32)
- 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌(UHMWPE)을 포함하는 겔-방적된 섬유로서,
상기 UHMWPE가 4 dL/g 이상의 고유 점도(IV)를 갖고 1000개의 총 탄소 원자 당 0.3개 이상의 단쇄 분지(SCB)를 포함하고,
상기 섬유가 상기 섬유를 형성하는 100 중량부의 폴리에틸렌을 기준으로 0.1 내지 10 중량부의 카본 블랙을 추가로 포함하는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
섬유가 상기 섬유를 형성하는 100 중량부의 폴리에틸렌을 기준으로 0.5 중량부 이상 내지 3 중량부 이하의 카본 블랙을 추가로 포함하는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
UHMWPE가 1000개의 총 탄소 원자 당 0.5개 이상 내지 25개 미만의 SCB를 포함하는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
SCB가 UHMWPE의 공단량체로부터 유래하되, 상기 공단량체가 3개 이상의 탄소 원자를 갖는 알파-올레핀, 5 내지 20개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 환형 올레핀 및 4 내지 20개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 선형, 분지형 또는 환형 다이엔으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
SCB가 C1-C20-하이드로카빌 기인, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제5항에 있어서,
C1-C20-하이드로카빌 기가 에틸, 부틸 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
UHMWPE가 4 내지 40 dL/g의 고유 점도(IV)를 갖는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
카본 블랙이 아세틸렌 블랙, 채널 블랙, 퍼네스(furnace) 블랙, 램프 블랙, 써멀 블랙 및 이들의 임의의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제8항에 있어서,
카본 블랙이 퍼네스 블랙인, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
카본 블랙이 ASTM D3849-07(2011)에 의해 측정시 10 내지 200 nm의 평균 일차 입자 크기를 갖는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제10항에 있어서,
카본 블랙이 ASTM D3849-07(2011)에 의해 측정시 14 내지 50 nm의 평균 일차 입자 크기를 갖는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항에 있어서,
카본 블랙이 ASTM D6556-10에 의해 측정시 10 내지 500 m2/g 또는 40 내지 200 m2/g의 BET-표면적을 갖는, 겔-방적된 섬유. - 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항의 겔-방적된 섬유 n개를 포함하는 얀으로서, 상기 n이 5 이상이고, 상기 얀이 20 cN/dtex 이상의 직물 강도(Ten)를 갖고, 70℃의 온도에서 600 MPa의 하중을 받을 때 1 x 10-6 s-1 이하의 크리프 속도(CR) 및 50시간 이상의 크리프 수명(CLT)을 갖되, 상기 크리프 속도는 각 시간 단계당 얀의 길이 변화로서 정의되고 하기 수학식 1에 따라 결정되는, 얀:

εi 및 εi-1은 지점(i) 및 이전 지점(i-1)에서의 % 단위의 연신율이고;
ti 및 ti-1은 얀이 각각 연신율 εi 및 εi-1에 도달하는데 필요한 초 단위의 시간이다. - 제13항에 있어서,
n이 20 이상이고, 상기 얀이 25 cN/dtex 이상의 직물 강도를 갖는 얀. - 제13항에 있어서,
CR(600 MPa, 70℃)이 7 x 10-7 s-1 이하인, 얀. - 제15항에 있어서,
CR(600 MPa, 70℃)이 1 x 10-7 s-1 이하인, 얀. - 제13항에 있어서,
70시간 이상의 CLT(600 MPa, 70℃)를 갖는 얀. - 제17항에 있어서,
150시간 이상의 CLT(600 MPa, 70℃)를 갖는 얀. - 제13항에 있어서,
얀이, ISO 2578에 따라 672시간 동안 100℃에 노출 후(AE), 노출 전 얀의 CLT와 적어도 동일한 노출 후 크리프 수명(CLT-AE)을 갖고, CLT-AE가 노출 전 얀의 CLT보다 10% 이상 더 높되, CLT 및 CLT-AE는 600 MPa 및 70℃에서 측정되는, 얀. - 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항의 섬유를 포함하는 로프.

- 낚싯줄, 어망, 접지망, 하역망, 커튼, 연줄, 치실, 테니스 라켓줄, 캔버스, 직조되거나 부직된 천, 웨빙, 배터리 세퍼레이터, 의료 기기, 커패시터, 압력 용기, 호스, 엄빌리컬 케이블, 자동차 장비, 송전 벨트, 건축 재료, 절단 및 찔림 저항성 및 절개 저항성 물품, 보호용 장갑, 복합 스포츠 장비, 스키, 헬멧, 카약, 카누, 자전거, 보트 선체 및 원재, 스피커 콘, 고성능 전기절연물, 레이돔, 돛 및 토목 섬유(geotextiles)로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항의 섬유를 함유하는 제품.
- 낚싯줄, 어망, 접지망, 하역망, 커튼, 연줄, 치실, 테니스 라켓줄, 캔버스, 직조되거나 부직된 천, 웨빙, 배터리 세퍼레이터, 의료 기기, 커패시터, 압력 용기, 호스, 엄빌리컬 케이블, 자동차 장비, 송전 벨트, 건축 재료, 절단 및 찔림 저항성 및 절개 저항성 물품, 보호용 장갑, 복합 스포츠 장비, 스키, 헬멧, 카약, 카누, 자전거, 보트 선체 및 원재, 스피커 콘, 고성능 전기절연물, 레이돔, 돛 및 토목 섬유로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는, 제13항의 얀을 함유하는 제품.
- a. 고강도 UHMWPE 섬유를 제공하는 단계로서, 상기 섬유는 상기 섬유를 형성하는 100 중량부의 폴리에틸렌을 기준으로 0.1 내지 10 중량부의 카본 블랙을 포함하고, 상기 UHMWPE는 4 dL/g 이상의 고유 점도(IV)를 갖고 1000개의 총 탄소 원자 당 0.3개 이상의 단쇄 분지(SCB)를 포함하는, 단계; 및
b. 상기 섬유를 강제 공기 순환식 오븐에서 50℃ 이상의 온도에 24시간 이상 동안 노출시키는 단계
를 포함하는, 섬유를 포함하는 얀의 크리프(creep) 수명을 증가시키는 방법. - (a) 4 dL/g 이상의 고유 점도(IV)를 갖고 1000개의 총 탄소 원자 당 0.3개 이상의 단쇄 분지(SCB)를 포함하는 UHMWPE 섬유,
섬유를 형성하는 100 중량부의 폴리에틸렌을 기준으로 0.1 내지 10 중량부의 양의 카본 블랙, 및
UHMWPE를 위한 용매
를 포함하는 혼합물을 제조하는 단계;
(b) 상기 혼합물을 방적돌기를 통해 압출시켜 상기 UHMWPE, 상기 카본 블랙 및 상기 UHMWPE를 위한 용매를 함유하는 겔 섬유를 수득하는 단계;
(c) 상기 용매를 상기 겔 섬유로부터 제거하여 고체 섬유를 수득하는 단계; 및
(d) 이후, 상기 섬유를 강제 공기 순환식 오븐에서 50℃ 이상의 온도에 24시간 이상 동안 노출시키는 단계
