Abstract
Description
도 2는 본 발명의 일 양태에 따른 실질적으로 알칼리 이온이 없는 조성물 및 보호층을 갖는 알칼리가 없는 유리 요소를 포함하는 구부릴 수 있는 스택 어셈블리의 사시도이다.
도 2a는 도 2에 도시된 스택 어셈블리의 단면도이다.
도 2b는 어셈블리의 구부림 시에 도 2에 도시된 스택 어셈블리의 단면도이다.
도 3 및 3a는 특히 본 발명의 또 다른 양태에 따른 이러한 어셈블리에서 사용된 최대 굴곡 반경, 탄성 계수 및 알칼리가 없는 유리 요소의 두께에 관하여 구부릴 수 있는 스택 어셈블리에 대한 디자인 구성을 도시한 도식도이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 추가의 양태에 따른 알칼리가 없는 유리 조성물을 갖는 구부릴 수 있는 뒤판, 보호층 및 상기 뒤판 상의 전자 디바이스를 포함하는 전자 디바이스 어셈블리의 사시도이다.
도 4a는 상기 어셈블리의 구부림 시에, 도 4에 도시된 상기 전자 디바이스 어셈블리의 단면도이다.

Claims (13)
- 물품으로서,
접을 수 있는(foldable) 디스플레이;
접을 수 있는 디스플레이의 사용자와 마주보는 부분 상으로, 접을 수 있는 디스플레이 위에 배치되는 커버 유리층, 여기서 커버 유리층은 커버 유리층의 상부 표면 및 커버 유리 층의 하부 표면 중 적어도 하나에 압축 응력 영역을 포함하고, 압축 응력 영역은 복수의 이온-교환 가능한 금속 이온 및 복수의 이온-교환된 금속 이온을 포함하며, 이온-교환된 금속 이온은 이온-교환 가능한 금속 이온의 원자 반경보다 더 큰 원자 반경을 가지며; 및
커버 유리 밑에 위치되는, 구부릴 수 있는(bendable) 봉합제(encapsulant)를 포함하고, 봉합제는 복수의 전자 요소를 봉합하도록 더욱 구성되며 , 구부릴 수 있는 봉합제는
20 ㎛ 내지 100 ㎛ 범위의 두께,
40 GPa 내지 100 GPa 범위의 탄성 계수를 갖는 유리 재료를 포함하고, 유리 재료는 알루미노실리케이트 조성물, 보로실리케이트 조성물, 보로알루미노실리케이트 조성물 또는 실리케이트 유리 조성물의 알칼리가 없는 유리 조성물을 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
유리 재료를 구성하는 유리 요소는 57 GPa 내지 82 GPa 범위의 탄성 계수를 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
유리 재료를 구성하는 유리 요소는 40 GPa 내지 65 GPa 범위의 탄성 계수를 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
유리 재료를 구성하는 유리 요소는 퓨전 라인을 포함하는, 물품. - 삭제
- 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 재료는
64 mol% 내지 69 mol% SiO2, 및
5 mol% 내지 12 mol% Al2O3를 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 요소는 약 25℃ 및 약 50% 상대 습도에서 적어도 60분 동안 약 15mm의 굴곡 반경에서의 구부림 동안 커버 유리 층이 유지될 때, 파손이 없는 것을 특징으로 하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 요소는 약 25℃ 및 약 50% 상대 습도에서 적어도 60분 동안 약 5mm의 굴곡 반경에서의 구부림 동안 커버 유리 층이 유지될 때, 파손이 없는 것을 특징으로 하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 요소는 약 25℃ 및 약 50% 상대 습도에서 약 15mm의 굴곡 반경에서의 구부림의 200,000 사이클을 겪은 후에, 파손이 없는 것을 특징으로 하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
물품은 하나 이상의 커버 유리층을 포함하는 구부릴 수 있는 커버를 더욱 포함하고,
여기서 커버는, 커버의 하부 표면이 (ⅰ) 약 1 GPa 미만의 탄성 계수를 갖는 대략적으로 25㎛ 두께의 감압(pressure-sensitive) 접착제 및 (ⅱ) 약 10 GPa 미만의 탄성 계수를 갖는 대략적으로 50㎛ 두께의 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 층에 의해 지지되고, 커버 유리층의 상부, 사용자와 마주보는 표면에 200㎛ 직경의 편평한 바닥을 갖는 스테인리스 스틸 핀으로 하중이 가해질 때, 1.5kgf 초과의 펑크 내성을 특징으로 하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 요소는 0.6 MPa·m1/2 이상의 파괴 인성(KIC)을 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 10에 있어서,
커버는 8H 이상의 연필 경도를 포함하는, 물품. - 청구항 1-4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
유리 요소는 유리 요소의 구부림 시에 인장되는 제1 주표면 및 구부림 시에 실질적으로 압축되는 제2 주표면을 포함하고,
제1 주표면; 및 제1 주표면과 커버 유리층의 두께의 절반 사이의 커버 유리층의 영역이, 약 200㎚ 이하의 평균의 가장 긴 단면 치수를 갖는 복수의 흠(flaws)으로 특징지어진 흠 분포를 갖는 실질적으로 흠이 없는 영역(60)을 정의하는, 물품.
