Claims (6)
- 다수의 픽셀들이 배치되는 액정표시패널;
상기 액정표시패널에 광원으로부터의 빛을 전달하는 도광판의 열전도율과 상기 도광판의 기준위치에서의 색온도를 이용하여 상기 도광판의 각 위치에서의 색온도를 산출하고, 상기 기준위치와 각 위치간의 색온도 차이를 이용하여 상기 도광판의 각 위치에서의 색온도 보상값을 산출하는 색온도 보상부;
상기 색온도 보상값을 이용하여 상기 각 위치에 해당하는 상기 각 픽셀에 표시되는 영상 데이터의 R 게인값과 B 게인값 중 적어도 하나를 상기 기준위치를 기준으로 서로 다르게 보정하는 타이밍 컨트롤러;를 포함하는 표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 색온도 보상부는, 상기 도광판에서 상기 색온도가 상기 기준위치보다 높은 영역에서는 R 게인값과 B 게인값이 증가하도록 상기 색온도 보상값을 산출하고, 상기 도광판에서 상기 색온도가 상기 기준위치보다 낮은 영역에서는 R 게인값이 감소하도록 상기 색온도 보상값을 산출하는 표시장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 색온도 보상부는, 상기 도광판과 상기 광원과의 거리에 따른 상기 색온도의 변동을 반영하여 상기 색온도 보상값을 산출하는 표시장치. - 액정표시패널에 광원으로부터의 빛을 전달하는 도광판의 열전도율과 상기 도광판의 기준위치에서의 색온도를 이용하여 상기 도광판의 각 위치에서의 색온도를 산출하는 단계;
상기 기준위치와 상기 각 위치 간의 색온도 차이를 이용하여 상기 도광판의 각 위치에서의 색온도 보상값을 산출하는 단계;
상기 색온도 보상값을 이용하여 상기 각 위치에 해당하는 상기 각 픽셀에 표시되는 영상 데이터의 R 게인값과 B 게인값 중 적어도 하나를 상기 기준위치를 기준으로 서로 다르게 보정하는 보정단계;를 포함하는 표시장치의 데이터 보정방법. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 보정단계는, 상기 색온도가 상기 기준위치보다 높은 상기 도광판 영역에 대응되는 픽셀에 대해서는 R 게인값과 B 게인값이 증가하도록 보정하고, 상기 색온도가 상기 기준위치보다 낮은 상기 도광판 영역에 대응되는 픽셀에 대해서는 R 게인값이 감소하도록 보정하는 표시장치의 데이터 보정방법. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 색온도를 산출하는 단계는, 상기 도광판과 상기 광원과의 거리에 따른 상기 색온도의 변화를 반영하는 표시장치의 데이터 보정방법.
