도 2는 정공 전달층의 두께 및 굴절률에 따른 복사휘도(Radiance)를 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 3은 정공 전달층의 두께 및 굴절률에 따른 표면 플라즈몬(surface plasmon) 분율을 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 4는 정공 전달층의 굴절률에 따른 안티노드 두께 및 표면 플라즈몬 분율을 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 5는 비교예에서, 정공 전달층의 두께에 따른 4가지 모드에서의 상대적 평균 공헌도(Relative average contribution)를 나타내는 그래프이다.

Claims (20)
- 서로 중첩하도록 위치하는 제1 전극 및 제2 전극,
상기 제1 전극과 상기 제2 전극 사이에 위치하는 발광층, 및
상기 제1 전극과 상기 발광층 사이에 위치하고, 1.0 내지 1.6의 굴절률을 갖는 정공 전달층을 포함하고,
상기 제1 전극과 상기 제2 전극 사이에서 공진 구조를 가지고,
상기 공진 구조는 하기 수학식 1을 만족하는 1차 공진 구조인 유기 발광 소자:

상기 수학식 1에서 njλ는 파장 λ에 대한 j번째 층의 굴절률이고, dj는 j번째 층의 두께이며, δj는 광이 j번째 층을 통과하거나 상기 제1 전극이 갖는 면 또는 상기 제2 전극이 갖는 면에서 반사될 때 나타나는 위상변화의 크기이고, q는 0이다. - 제1항에서,
상기 제1 전극은 반사 전극을 포함하고, 상기 제2 전극은 반투과 전극을 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 삭제
- 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층은 상기 제1 전극과 맞닿아 있는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층의 두께는 15 나노미터 내지 40 나노미터의 범위를 갖는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층의 굴절률은 1.2 이상 1.5 미만의 범위를 갖는 유기 발광 소자. - 제6항에서,
상기 정공 전달층의 굴절률은 1.2 내지 1.45의 범위를 갖는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층은
상기 제1 전극과 상기 발광층 사이에 위치하는 정공 주입층, 및
상기 정공 주입층과 상기 발광층 사이에 위치하는 정공 수송층을 포함하고,
상기 정공 주입층과 상기 정공 수송층 각각의 굴절률은 1.2 내지 1.45의 범위를 갖는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 발광층은 적색 발광층, 녹색 발광층, 및 청색 발광층을 포함하고,
상기 적색 발광층, 상기 녹색 발광층, 및 상기 청색 발광층은 상기 제1 전극에 평행한 방향으로 수평 배치되며,
상기 정공 전달층은 상기 적색 발광층과 상기 제1 전극 사이, 상기 녹색 발광층과 상기 제1 전극 사이, 및 상기 청색 발광층과 상기 제1 전극 사이에 공통적으로 위치하고, 공통적으로 위치하는 부분에서 상기 정공 전달층의 두께가 동일한 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 발광층은 서로 다른 색상을 나타내는 복수의 층이 조합되어 백색 발광하는 유기 발광 소자. - 제10항에서,
상기 복수의 층은 2층 또는 3층으로 적층된 구조를 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층은 아민 유도체와 퍼플러 올리고머(perfluoro oligomer)를 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 정공 전달층은 PEDOT:PSS 또는 PEDOT:PSS:PFI를 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 유기 발광 소자는 20% 이하의 표면 플라즈몬 분율을 갖는 유기 발광 소자. - 제1항에서,
상기 제2 전극 위에 위치하는 캡핑층을 더 포함하는 유기 발광 소자. - 기판,
상기 기판 위에 위치하는 박막 트랜지스터, 및
상기 박막 트랜지스터와 연결되는 유기 발광 소자를 포함하고,
상기 유기 발광 소자는
서로 중첩하도록 위치하는 제1 전극 및 제2 전극,
상기 제1 전극과 상기 제2 전극 사이에 위치하는 발광층, 및
상기 제1 전극과 상기 발광층사이에 위치하고, 1.0 내지 1.6의 굴절률을 갖는 정공 전달층을 포함하고,
상기 유기 발광 소자는 상기 제1 전극과 상기 제2 전극 사이에서 공진 구조를 가지고,
상기 공진 구조는 하기 수학식 1을 만족하는 1차 공진 구조인 발광 장치:
