- 직간접적으로 타겟 영역을 냉각하는 핸드헬드(handheld) 의료용 냉각 장치에 있어서,
길이 방향으로 정의되는 길이와 상기 길이 방향과 수직하는 폭 방향으로 정의되는 폭을 가지되, 상기 길이는 상기 폭보다 크고, 상기 길이 방향으로 서로 이격된 제1 영역 및 제2 영역을 포함하는 내부 공간을 정의하는 하우징;
상기 제1 영역에 위치하고 직간접적으로 상기 타겟 영역을 냉각하는 열 전도체를 지지하는 냉각부 -상기 냉각부는 상기 열 전도체를 냉각하고 열을 발생시키는 열전소자를 포함함-;
상기 제2 영역에 위치하는 방열부 -상기 방열부 및 상기 냉각부는 서로 공간적으로 분리되고 상기 폭 방향에서 바라볼 때 서로 중첩되지 않음-;
