Claims (23)
- 근시 진행을 늦추거나, 지연시키거나, 예방하는 것 중 적어도 하나를 위한 안과용 렌즈(ophthalmic lens)로서, 상기 안과용 렌즈가,
상기 안과용 렌즈의 중심에 있는 제1 구역;
상기 중심을 둘러싸고, 상기 중심에서의 렌즈 굴절력(dioptric power)과는 상이한 렌즈 굴절력을 갖는 적어도 하나의 주변 구역; 및
상기 적어도 하나의 주변 구역으로부터 연장되는 불투명 마스크를 포함함으로써, 단초점렌즈(single vision lens)와 등가인 중심와 시력 교정(foveal vision correction)을 가지고, 안과용 렌즈 전체에 근시 진행을 늦추거나, 지연시키거나, 예방하는 초점 깊이 및 감소된 망막 이미지 품질 감도(retinal image quality sensitivity)를 갖는 렌즈 굴절력 프로파일을 제공하고,
상기 불투명 마스크보다 내측의 상기 안과용 렌즈의 설계는, 이하의 수학식으로 기술되는, 안과용 렌즈.

r은 상기 안과용 렌즈의 기하학적 중심으로부터의 반경방향 거리를 나타내고,
r마스크는 상기 불투명 마스크의 내반경이고,
SA는 구면 수차량을 나타내고,
P'(r)는, 상이한 범위의 r 및, 각각의 r의 범위에 대응하는 렌즈 굴절력의 크기를 갖는 다수의 구역을 갖는 단계 함수로서, 구역 1의 r의 범위는 상기 안과용 렌즈의 중심으로부터 0.95mm이고, P'(r)의 값은 0.32D이고, 구역 2의 r의 범위는 상기 구역 1의 종점으로부터 0.86mm이고, P'(r)의 값은 -0.23D이고, 구역 3의 r의 범위는 상기 구역 2의 종점으로부터 0.46mm이고, P'(r)의 값은 0.44D인, 단계 함수를 나타내고,
또한, P'(r)는, 다수의 점에 의한 구간적 3차 에르미트 보간 다항식 곡선 제어를 나타내고,
상기 다수의 점의 상기 안과용 렌즈의 중심으로부터의 거리와 그 점에서의 렌즈 굴절력이 (0.00mm, -0.67D), (0.56mm, 1.00D), (1.13mm, 0.11D), (1.69mm, -0.07D), 및 (2.25mm, 0.28D)이다. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안과용 렌즈는 콘택트 렌즈(contact lens)를 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안과용 렌즈는 안경 렌즈(spectacle lens)를 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안과용 렌즈는 안내 렌즈(intraocular lens), 각막 인레이(inlay), 또는 각막 온레이(onlay)를 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 불투명 마스크는 유색(colored) 또는 흑색 링(ring)을 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 안정화 메커니즘(stabilization mechanism)을 추가로 포함하는, 안과용 렌즈.
