도 2는 일례에 따른 본 발명의 배기가스 정화용 촉매 제조방법의 과정을 나타낸 순서도이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따라 제조된 배기가스 정화용 촉매의 X선 회절분석(X-ray diffraction, XRD) 결과 그래프이다.

Claims (14)
- (a) 지르코늄 전구체를 물에 용해한 지르코늄 전구체 수용액의 pH 농도가 9 내지 10으로 조절되도록 염기성 용액을 넣고 혼합하여 침전물을 형성하는 단계;
(b) 상기 (a) 단계에서 형성된 침전물을 포함하는 수용액을 30℃ 이상 70℃ 미만의 온도에서 48시간 이하로 에이징(aging)하여 결정 구조가 단사정계(monoclinic) 결정상 및 정방정계(tetragonal) 결정상이 함께 포함하여 이루어진 지르코니아(ZrO2) 담체를 제조하는 단계;
(c) 제조된 지르코니아 담체를 세척 및 건조하는 단계;
(d) 상기 (c) 단계에서 건조된 지르코니아 담체를 600℃에서 2 시간 내지 10시간 동안 소성하는 단계;
(e) 상기 (d) 단계를 거친 지르코니아 담체에 팔라듐을 담지하는 단계; 및
(f) 상기 (e) 단계를 통해 지르코니아 담체에 팔라듐이 담지되어 형성된 배기가스 정화용 촉매를 소성하는 단계;를 포함하며,

상기 (f) 단계는 상기 배기가스 정화용 촉매를 500℃ 내지 700℃에서 2 시간 내지 10시간 동안 소성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매의 제조방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 지르코늄 전구체는 옥시염화지르코늄 8수화물(ZrOCl2·8H2O)인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매의 제조방법. - 삭제

상기 염기성 용액은 암모니아수(NH4OH) 또는 수산화나트륨(NaOH) 수용액인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매의 제조방법. - 삭제
- 제1, 제4항, 제6항, 제7항, 제8항 및 제10항 중 어느 한 항의 제조방법으로 제조되어 결정 구조가 단사정계(monoclinic) 결정상 및 정방정계(tetragonal) 결정상이 함께 포함하여 이루어진 지르코니아 담체에 팔라듐 촉매가 담지되며, 상기 정방정계(tetragonal) 결정상은 상기 지르코니아 담체 전체 조성에 대해 0 vol% 초과 65 vol% 미만으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
