Description

도 5a 및 5b는, 부식 억제제 대 염 억제제로서 거동하는 Ca의 범위를 도시하는, 각각 pH 7.5 및 8.5에서의 PAA-2(평균 5,000g)의 그래프이며, 여기서, 부식 속도가 200ppm Ca 초과에서 증가하는데, 이는 폴리카복실산 중합체가 염 억제 메커니즘에 의해 소비되기 때문에 더 이상 부식 방지용으로 사용할 수 없기 때문이다.
Claims (37)
- 수성 시스템과 접촉하는 금속의 부식을 억제하는 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
중합체성 폴리카복실레이트를 포함하는 부식 억제용 트리트먼트(treatment)를 수성 시스템에 첨가하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 트리트먼트는 인 및 아연을 필수적으로 포함하지 않고, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트는 1 내지 1,000ppm의 투입량으로 첨가되고,
(a) 상기 수성 시스템은 칼슘 농도 200ppm 미만의 경도를 포함하고, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트는 평균 분자량이 적어도 4,000g이거나, 또는
(b) 상기 수성 시스템은 칼슘 농도 200ppm 내지 400ppm의 경도를 포함하고, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트는 평균 분자량이 2,000g 내지 2,500g인, 방법. - 삭제

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트가, (i) 아크릴산의 저분자량 단독중합체 및 이의 염, (ii) 메타크릴산의 저분자량 단독중합체 및 이의 염 및 (iii) 아크릴산과 메타크릴산의 저분자량 공중합체 및 이의 염으로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트가, (i) 아크릴산의 저분자량 단독중합체의 칼슘 염, (ii) 메타크릴산의 저분자량 단독중합체의 칼슘 염 및 (iii) 아크릴산과 메타크릴산의 저분자량 공중합체의 칼슘 염으로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트가 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트의 칼슘 염이고, 상기 칼슘 염이 상기 수성 시스템에 첨가하기 전에 사전 형성되는, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트가, 필수적으로 산성인 전구체와, 탄산칼슘, 수산화칼슘, 탄산 마그네슘 칼슘, 규산칼슘, 칼슘 돌로마이트 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택되는 칼슘 염과의 반응에 의해 형성되는, 방법.
- 수성 시스템과 접촉하는 금속의 부식을 억제하는 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
유기 음이온성 중합체를 칼슘 염과 반응시켜, 수성 시스템 외부에 Ca-중합체 복합체를 형성하는 단계로서, 상기 유기 음이온성 중합체가 폴리카복실산이고, 상기 유기 음이온성 중합체가 부분적으로 또는 완전히 양성자화된, 상기 복합체의 형성 단계; 및
상기 Ca-중합체 복합체를 포함하는 트리트먼트를 상기 수성 시스템에 첨가하는 단계로서, 상기 트리트먼트가 인 및 아연을 필수적으로 포함하지 않고, 상기 수성 시스템이 칼슘 농도 200ppm 미만의 경도를 포함하고, 상기 폴리카복실산이, 상기 Ca-중합체 복합체의 제형화(formulating) 전에, 평균 분자량이 적어도 5,000g인, 상기 첨가 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서,
상기 수성 시스템에, 200 내지 1,000ppm의 투입량으로 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트 칼슘 염을 첨가하는, 방법. - 제11항에 있어서, 추가의 투입량의 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트 칼슘 염을 나중에 그리고 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트 칼슘 염의 효과적인 부식 억제 농도를 유지하는 수준으로 첨가하는 단계를 추가로 포함하고, 상기 중합체성 폴리카복실레이트 칼슘 염의 상기 추가 투입량이 1 내지 100ppm인, 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 분산제를 추가로 포함하고, 상기 분산제는 설폰화 단량체를 포함하는 공중합체 또는 삼원중합체인, 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 설폰화 단량체가, 암모늄 알릴 폴리에톡시 설페이트(APES) 및 2-아크릴아미도-2-메틸프로판 설폰산(AMPS)으로 이루어지는 그룹으로부터 선택되는, 방법.
