Claims (22)
- 서로 반대편에 있는 제1 및 제2 주 표면을 갖는 배킹;
배킹의 적어도 하나의 주 표면 상에 메이크 코트(make coat)를 형성하는 제1 수지;
제1 수지 내에 적어도 부분적으로 매립된 연마 입자; 및
제1 수지 및 연마 입자 상의 제2 수지
를 포함하며;
메이크 코트는 연속적이고,
연마 입자는 형상화된 연마 입자이며,
적어도 일부분의 연마 입자는 배킹 상에 에지로 직립하도록 구성되고, 연마 입자의 코팅 중량은 6 그레인/24 in2 이하이며, 배킹의 표면적의 15% 이하가 연마 입자로 덮이는, 코팅된 연마 물품. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 입자는 적어도 하나의 에지를 포함하며 에지로 직립하도록 구성되는, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 50% 이상의 연마 입자가 배킹 상에 직립해 있는, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 입자들 사이의 표면 영역은 편평하고 평활한, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 입자는 평균 그릿(grit) 크기가 60 이상 내지 240 이하인, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 80% 이상의 연마 입자가 배킹 상에 직립해 있는, 코팅된 연마 물품.

- 제1항에 있어서, 배킹은 연속적이고, 배킹의 서로 반대편에 있는 주 표면들은 편평하고 평활하며, 배킹은 종이, 중합체 필름 또는 천(cloth) 중 적어도 하나로 형성되는, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 광물 중량 대 제1 수지 코트 중량의 비는 2:1 내지 1:4의 범위인, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 광물 중량 대 제2 수지 코트 중량의 비는 1:1 내지 1:25의 범위인, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 수지 코트 중량 대 제2 수지 코트 중량의 비는 1:1 내지 1:15의 범위인, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 직립 연마 입자는 종횡비(aspect ratio)가 4:1 이상인, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 직립 연마 입자의 피크 높이는 균일한, 코팅된 연마 물품.
- 평활하고 연속적인 제1 주 표면을 갖는 배킹;
제1 주 표면 상의 메이크 코트 수지;
메이크 코트 수지 내에 적어도 부분적으로 매립되고 배킹 상에 배열된, 균일한 크기 및 형상을 갖는 복수의 형상화된 연마 입자;
메이크 코트 수지 및 연마 입자 상의 사이즈 코트(size coat) 수지
를 포함하며;
메이크 코트 수지는 연속적이고,
80% 이상의 연마 입자가 배킹 상에 직립해 있고, 배킹 상에 직립해 있는 연마 입자의 평균 높이는 메이크 코트 수지의 두께의 3배 이상이고,
사이즈 코트 수지의 코팅 중량은 메이크 코트 수지의 코팅 중량보다 더 크고,
형상화된 연마 입자는 본 명세서에 기재된 피크 카운트 측정 기술에 따라 측정할 때 평균 피크 카운트가 24 in2당 40,000 이하이고,
연마 입자는 평균 그릿 크기가 24 이상 내지 800 이하인, 코팅된 연마 디스크. - 자동차를 제조하는 바디-인-화이트(body-in-white) 단계 동안 코팅되지 않은 금속 작업물(workpiece)을 연마하는 방법으로서,
