Claims (18)
- 디스플레이 백라이트(display backlight)로서,
파장 범위 445㎚ 내지 465㎚의 피크 방출 파장을 갖는 청색 여기광을 생성하기 위한 여기원(excitation source); 및
파장 변환부;
를 포함하고,
상기 파장 변환부는:
광루미네선스 파장 변환층(photoluminescence wavelength conversion layer); 및
광 확산층;을 갖는 필름을 포함하고,
상기 광루미네선스 파장 변환층은,
50㎚ 이하의 반값 전폭 강도(full width at half maximum intensity)와 파장 범위 530㎚ 내지 545㎚의 피크 방출을 갖는 협대역 녹색 발광 광루미네선스 재료와, 파장 범위 600㎚ 내지 650㎚의 피크 방출을 갖는 적색 발광 광루미네선스 재료를 포함하는 광 투과 결합제를 포함하되,
상기 광루미네선스 파장 변환층은 상기 광 확산층 상에 균일한 층으로서 직접적으로 증착된 것인, 디스플레이 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광루미네선스 파장 변환층과 상기 광 확산층은 별개의 필름으로서 제조되어 서로 부착되는(applied), 디스플레이 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광루미네선스 파장 변환층은 산화아연(ZnO); 이산화규소(SiO2); 이산화티탄(TiO2); 산화마그네슘(MgO); 황산바륨(BaSO4); 산화알루미늄(Al2O3) 및 이들의 조합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 광 산란 재료의 입자를 포함하는, 디스플레이 백라이트.
- 제3항에 있어서, 광 산란 재료 입자는 200㎚ 이하의 평균 직경을 갖거나, 또는 100㎚ 내지 150㎚의 평균 직경을 갖는, 디스플레이 백라이트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 협대역 녹색 발광 광루미네선스 재료는 SrGa2S4:Eu 또는 β-SiAlON을 포함하는, 디스플레이 백라이트.
