Description

위생 제품들용 흡수성 엘리먼트의 제조 방법 및 장치 (APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OF AN ABSORBENT ELEMENT FOR SANITARY PRODUCTS)
본 발명은 위생 제품들용 흡수성 엘리먼트(absorbent element) 및 그 엘리먼트를 제조하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
특히, 흡수성 엘리먼트는 팽창 가능한 초 흡수성 재료가 수용되는 다수의 주머니(sac)들 또는 포켓들을 포함하는 형태이다.
시장에서는 흡수성의 기능이 있는 위생 제품들이 여러 개 있다. 예를 들어, 아기들을 위한 기저귀들, 약한 요실금(light incontinence) 및 노인용 제품들, 여성용 흡수성 제품들 및 일반 의약 제품들이 있다.
예컨대, 유럽 공개특허문헌 EP2586409(2013.05.01)은 기저귀에 사용하기에 적합한 새로운 흡수 용품 및 제조 방법을 개시하고 있다.
이러한 제품들의 사용 편의성 및 유효성은 이들의 흡수 및 저장 능력에 결정적인 영향을 받게 되며, 부적당한 액체 누출들 또는 너무 빈번한 변경들의 필요성을 피할 수 있다. 지난 10년 동안 그 부피를 증가시켜 액체를 흡수하는 능력을 갖는 소위 “초-흡수성(super-absorbent)” 재료들, 특히 소위 “SAP”(Super-Absorbent Powders)가 개발되었다.
그러나, 이러한 재료들을 사용하는 것에 대한 잠재성은 완전하게 활용되지 않았다. 이는, 그 전체 엘리먼트의 안정적 구조 및 사용 편의성을 유지하면서 초 흡수성 컴포넌트의 완전한 팽창을 가능하게하고 그리고 최대한의 흡수도를 전체적으로 활용하는데 있어서 현재의 흡수성 엘리먼트의 한계에 기인한다.
따라서, 본 발명에 의해 배치되고 해결되는 기술적 문제점은 공지된 기술을 참조하여 상기 언급된 단점을 제거할 수 있는 위생 제품에 대한 체액의 저장 능력 결과 및 흡수성 엘리먼트를 제공하는 것이다.
이러한 문제점은 제 1 항에 따른 흡수성 엘리먼트에 의해 해결된다.
본 발명은 또한 제 12 항에 따른 관련된 장치 및 제 18 항에 따른 흡수성 엘리먼트를 제조하는 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명의 바람직한 특징들은 종속항들에 기재되어 있다.
본 발명은 개선된 구조를 가지며 그 내부에 함유되는 초 흡수성 재료의 전체 팽창을 허용하는 흡수성 엘리먼트를 제공한다.
동시에 흡수성 엘리먼트와 사용자의 피부의 직접적인 접촉을 피할 수 있다.
이러한 방식으로, 흡수성 엘리먼트는 양 및 품질 면에서 초 흡수성 재료의 사용을 최적화한다.

먼저, 도 1a를 참조하면, 본 발명의 제 1 실시예에 따른 생물학적 액체들 용 흡수성 엘리먼트는 전체적으로 1로 지정되어 있다.
흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 위생 용품, 예를 들어 일반적으로 요실금용 또는 아기용 기저귀에 포함되기에 적합하다.
본 실시예에서, 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 실질적으로 다층 시트(multilayer sheet) 형태이다.
특히, 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 각각이 111로 지정된 복수의 제 1 캐비티들 또는 주머니들을 갖는 라미네이트 재료(laminate material)의 제 1 층(11)을 포함한다.
각각의 제 1 캐비티(111)는 오목면 또는 오목부(112)와 오목면(112)에 대향하는 볼록부(113) 또는 볼록 면을 갖는다.
캐비티(111)의 바닥에는 초 흡수성 재료(C)의 물질(mass, 10)이 수용된다. 초 흡수성 재료는 본 실시예에서, 분말(powder) 또는 과립제(granules) 형태의 재료이다. 특히 상기 재료는 추가적인 유기 엘리먼트들(organic elements)을 구비하는 물에 가용성인 상호 결합되는 폴리아크릴레이트 기반 폴리머(polyacrylate-based polymer)일 수 있다. 또한, 액체들을 흡수하는 주요 특징과 별개로, 심지어 악취를 중화 및/또는 흡수하거나 제품 향료를 제공하는 것을 갖는 상이한 타입들의 분말 또는 과립제가 사용될 수 있다. 기본 물질로서의 재료들은 실리카(silica), 제올라이트(zeolite), 키틴(chitin) 및/또는 키토산(chitosan) 또는 다른 것을 가질 수 있다.
흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 라미네이트 재료(12)의 제 2 층을 더 포함한다. 제 2 층은 각각이 121로 지정된 주머니들 또는 복수의 제 2 캐비티들을 갖는다. 각각의 제 2 캐비티(121)는 오목면 또는 오목부(122)와 오목면(122)에 대향하는 볼록부(123) 또는 볼록 면을 갖는다.
각각의 제 2 캐비티(121)는 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111) 내에 배치되고, 볼록부(123)는 제 1 캐비티(111)의 오목부(112)와 대면하고 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)이 수용된다.
따라서, 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111)는 제 2 캐비티(121)와 협동하여 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)을 수용하는 시트를 형성한다. 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)은 제 1 캐비티(111)의 오목면(112)의 바닥에 수용되고 제 2 캐비티(121)의 볼록면(123)의 바닥에 의해 폐쇄된다.
본 실시예에서, 제 1 및 제 2 캐비티들(111, 121)은 동일한 프로파일을 갖는다. 특히 제 1 및 제 2 캐비티들(111, 121)은 전체적으로 원형 평면 형상을 가지며 테이퍼되는, 특히 원추형(frusto-conical), 단면이 구비되며, 단면이 바닥으로 갈수록 감소한다.
실시 형태 변형들은 하나 또는 두개의 캐비티를 위한 원통형 구조를 제공할 수 있다.
제 1 및 제 2 라미네이트 재료 층(11, 12)은 적어도 캐비티(111, 121)가 없는 각각의 중간 길이 방향 부분(114, 124))에서 서로 고정된다.
본 실시예에서 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 제 1 층(11)과 제 2 층(12)의 결합과 대향하는 측에서 제 2 층(12)에 결합되는 제 3 라미네이트 재료 층(13)을 포함한다. 즉, 제 2 층(12)이 제 1 과 제 3 층(11, 13) 사이에 샌드위치 형 배열로 수용되는 구성이다.
층들(11, 12, 13) 사이의 상술된 결합은 접착제에 의해 그리고 고온으로 수행될 수 있다.
또한, 재료들의 캐비티들의 형성은 열 성형으로 획득될 수 있다.
도 1b에 도시된 바와 같이, 제 2 캐비티들(121)의 오목부/볼록부(122/123)가 뒤집어 질 때 까지 각각의 제 2 캐비티들(121)을 팽창시키고 변형시킴으로써 초 흡수성 재료의 물질들(10)을 사용 시에 생물학적 액체를 흡수한다.
본 실시예에서, 심지어 제 3 층(13)도 제 2 캐비티(121)의 뒤집힌 프로파일을 따르도록 변형된다.
흡수성 엘리먼트가 건조한 상태에 있을 때, 캐비티 내부에서 빈 공간은 건조/습윤 재료(C)의 팽창비를 고려할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 평균적으로 팽창비는 1:25이다. (SAP의 1gr은 부피 질량의 명확한 증가와 함께 액체의 25 gr을 흡수할 수 있다.)
제 1 층(11), 제 2 층(12) 및/또는 제 3 층(13)의 재료는 폴리머릭 재료들(polymeric materials) 및 천연 재료들을 포함하는 군에서 선택될 수 있다. 재료 구조는 탄성, 부직포 및/또는 천공되는 재료들(예를 들어, 직경이 0.2 - 5.0 mm 범위이고 밀도가 약 100 holes/cm2인 미세 구멍이 구비될 수 있음)의 구조일 수 있다.
도 2a 및 도 2b를 참조하면, 본 발명의 제 2 바람직한 실시예에 기초하여 구현되는 흡수성 엘리먼트는 전체적으로 2로 지정되어 있다.
이 경우, 211로 지정된 각각의 제 1 캐비티는 더블-주머니 포로파일(double-sac profile)을 갖는다. 특히, 이것은 자체 오목 면(212)에서 주요 격실(215) 및 부 격실(216)을 형성한다. 본 실시예에서, 부 격실은 캐비티(211)의 바닥에 주 격실(215)의 서브 포션(sub-portion)을 형성한다.
바람직하게, 흡수가 없는 조건들 하에서, 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)은 부 격실(216)에서 전체적으로 또는 거의 전체적으로 수용된다.
바람직하게, 부 격실(216)은 주 격실(215)의 중앙에 배치된다.
본 실시예에서, 상기 격실(216) 조차도 실질적으로 원추형 형상(frusto-conical geometry)을 갖는다.
도 3a는 본 발명에 따른 흡수성 엘리먼트의 제 3 실시예에 관한 것이며, 이 경우 전체적으로 3으로 지정된다. 제 2 실시예와는 달리, 흡수성 엘리먼트(3)는 실질적으로 원통형 형상을 갖는 각각의 부 격실(여기서 316으로 지정됨)을 갖는다. 유사하게, 여기서 312로 지정된 각각의 제 2 캐비티의 형상 그리고 여기서 311로 각각 지정되는 각각의 제 1 캐비티의 형상도 원통형이다.
표현되지 않더라도, 흡수성 엘리먼트(3)는 선행 실시예들과 관련하여 설명된 것과 유사하게 제 3 라미네이트 재료 층을 가질 수 있다.
도 3b 및 도 3c 각각은 흡수성 엘리먼트(3) 내의 물질들(10)의 사용 시 각각의 가능한 팽창 모드를 나타낸다.
도 4를 참조하면, 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)는 유사한 흡수성 엘리먼트들(1', 1'')과 연결되어 복합 구조(100)를 형성하는 것으로 도시되어 있다. 복합 구조에서, 여러 흡수성 엘리먼트들(1, 1', 1'')이 나란히 배치되고, 캐비티가 없는 그들 자신의 측면 마진들(side margins)(110, 120)에 연결된다.
유사한 구조는 다른 실시예들에서 2 및 3으로 지정된 흡수성 엘리먼트들의 수단들 또는 엘리먼트들(1, 2, 3)의 조합의 수단들에 의해 획득될 수 있다.
도 5를 참조하면, 바람직한 실시예에 따른 상술한 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)를 제조하기 위한 장치는 전체적으로 500으로 지정되어 있다.
전술한 제 1 층(11), 제 2 층(12) 및 제 3 층(13)을 구성하는 라미네이트 재료들은 장치(500)에 그리고 장치(500) 내부에 공급된다. 단순화를 위해 이러한 물질은 본 명세서에서 구현하고자 하는 층의 동일한 참조 번호로 표시된다. 이러한 공급은 공지된 수단, 예를 들어 도면에 도시된 아이들러(idler) 및/또는 공급 롤러(feed roller)에 의해 이루어지며, 이는 더 이상 설명하지 않는다.
장치(500)는 라미네이트 재료들을 결합 및 엠보싱(embossing)하기 위한 일련의 단계들에 의해 흡수성 엘리먼트(1)를 구현한다.
특히, 장치(500)는 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)에 의해 사용시 맞물리도록 구성되고 엘리먼트들(511)을 엠보싱하거나 복수의 제 1 돌출부를 갖는 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(embossing roller)(510)를 포함한다.
제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)는 도면에서 지정된 회전 방향에 따라 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)와 결합되는 흡입 롤러(550)와 협동한다. 흡입 롤러(550)는 각각 제 1 롤러(510)의 돌출 엘리먼트들(511)를 수용하기에 적합한 다수의 개구부들 또는 구멍들 또는 시트들(seats, 551)를 포함한다.
흡수성 엘리먼트(1)의 제 1 캐비티(111)를 재료(11)에 구현하기 위해 제 1 돌출 엘리먼트들(511)과 개구부들(551)이 협동할 정도로 배치된다. 특히, 관련된 회전 중에, 한번에 하나의 돌출 엘리먼트(511)가 재료(11)의 개재로 개구부(551)와 맞물린다.
흡입 롤러(550)는 흡입 작용(suction action)을 가하기 위해 개구부들(551)의 일부를 통해 작동하는 흡입 수단들(570)을 구비한다. 특히, 이러한 흡입은 사용시에 초 흡수성 재료(C)의 저장소(reservoir) 또는 탱크(560)와 마주하는 하나 이상의 개구부들에 가해진다.
저장소(560)는 흡입 롤러(550)의 그리고 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)의 상호 회전에 대해 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)의 하류에 배치된다.
바람직하게는, 저장소(560) 내에서, 예를 들어 롤러의 회전축에 평행한 축을 갖는 한 쌍의 회전 엘리먼트에 기초하여 혼합 수단들(561)이 제공된다. 이러한 혼합 수단들은 교반 엘리먼트들(stirring elements) 또는 회전 패들들(rotating paddles)을 제공할 수 있다.

구현하는 실시예에서, 각각의 개구부(551)는 약 3~5mm의 홀과 홀 사이의 피치(원주 코드로서 측정됨)를 갖는 양 3-4mm와 동일한 직경을 갖는다.
생산 공정에 대한 정확한 온도를 보장하기 위해 하나 이상의 롤러 온도를 제어할 수 있다.
이러한 온도 제어는 캐비티(111 및/또는 121)의 열 성형에 의한 형성을 허용할 수도 있다.
도 6은 상술된 흡수성 엘리먼트(2)를 제조하기 위한 장치의 바람직한 실시예를 도시하며, 장치는 전체적으로 600으로 지정된다.
상술한 실시예의 장치(500)와 관련하여, 장치(600)는 흡입 롤러(550)의 상류에서 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)에 결합되는 보조 롤러(540)를 더 포함한다.
보조 롤러(540)는 두 개의 롤러의 관련 협동 회전 동안 제 1 롤러(510)의 제 1 돌출 엘리먼트(511)를 수용하기에 적합한 복수의 보조 개구부들(541)을 갖는다.
특히, 엘리먼트들(511)과 개구부들(541) 사이의 결합이 제 1 캐비티(111)의 구현의 상류에 있는 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)의 개재로 일어난다.
본 실시예에서, 엠보싱 돌출 엘리먼트들(511, 521)의 구성과 개구부들(551, 541)의 구성은 흡수성 엘리먼트(2)의 격실들 및 캐비티들의 상술된 원추형의 형상을 결정하기 위한 것이다.
실시예 변형들은 원통형 형상 캐비티들을 구비하는 흡수성 엘리먼트(3)의 구현을 제공할 수 있다.
일반적인 용어로, 단부 흡수성 엘리먼트에서 획득되는 캐비티들의 형상은 그것들의 배열과 상호 거리의 수단들 및/또는 돌출 엘리먼트들 및/또는 개구부들의 형성의 수단들에 의해 조절될 수 있다.

    복수의 제 1 캐비티들(111)을 가지는 제 1 라미네이트 재료 층(11);
    상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료 층(11)의 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111)에 각각이 수용되는 복수의 초 흡수성 재료 물질들(10); 및
    상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료 층(11)의 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111)에 각각 하나씩 수용되도록 배치되는 복수의 제 2 캐비티들(121), 상기 제 1 캐비티의 오목부(112)에 대면하는 제 2 캐비티의 볼록부(123) 및 내부에 수용되는 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)을 갖는 제 2 라미네이트 재료 층(12);
    을 포함하고,
    상기 제 1 캐비티(111) 및 상기 제 2 캐비티(121)는 상기 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)을 수용하는 시트를 형성하도록 협동하고,

    상기 제 1 캐비티 (111) 및 제 2 캐비티(121) 중 적어도 하나는 원통형인 프로파일을 갖는,

    복수의 제 2 돌출 엘리먼트들(521)을 가지며, 사용 시 제 2 라미네이트 재료(12)에 맞물려지도록 구성된 제 2 엠보싱 롤러(520); 및
    상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)에 회전 가능하게 결합되고 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)의 하류 위치에서 제 2 엠보싱 롤러(520)에 회전 가능하게 결합되는 흡입 롤러(550) - 상기 흡입 롤러(550)는 복수의 개구부들(551)을 가지며, 상기 복수의 개구부들(551) 각각은 상기 제 2 엠보싱 롤러(520)의 제 2 돌출 엘리먼트(521) 또는 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)의 제 1 돌출 엘리먼트(511)를 수용함 -;
    상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11) 및 상기 제 2 라미네이트 재료(12)의 결합 유닛(582);
    를 포함하고,
    상기 장치의 전체 구성 요소의 배치는, 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510) 및 상기 흡입 롤러(550)의 협응 회전(coordinated rotation) 동안, 제 1 돌출 엘리먼트(511)가 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)내에 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111)를 형성하도록 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)의 개재(interposition)로 각각의 개구부(551)와 맞물릴 정도이고,
    상기 흡입 롤러는 저장소(560)로부터 초 흡수성 물질(C)의 흡입 수단들(570)을 구비하고, 상기 흡입 수단들(570)은 사용시 상기 저장소(560)와 마주하는 상기 개구부들(551)의 부분을 통해 흡입력을 발휘하여 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)의 각각의 제 1 캐비티(111) 내에서 초 흡수성 재료의 물질(10)이 흡입되도록 하고,
    상기 배치는, 상기 제 2 엠보싱 롤러(520) 및 상기 흡입 롤러(550)가 상기 흡입의 하류에서 협응 회전하는 동안, 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료 및 상기 제 2 라미네이트 재료 내에 제 2 돌출 엘리먼트(521)가 각각의 제 2 캐비티(121)를 형성하도록 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11) 및 제 2 라미네이트 재료(12) 의 개재로 각각의 개구부(551)와 맞물릴 정도이고,
    상기 제 1 캐비티(111) 및 제 2 캐비티(121)는 상기 각각의 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)을 수용하는 시트를 형성하도록 협동하고,
    상기 결합 유닛(582)은 상기 제 1 캐비티(111) 및 상기 제 2 캐비티(121) 그리고 상기 초 흡수성 재료 물질(10)이 없는 적어도 중간 영역들(114, 124)에서 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11) 및 상기 제 2 라미네이트 재료(12)를 서로 고정하는,
    장치(500).
  14. 제 13 항에 있어서,
    상기 흡입 롤러(550)의 상류에서 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)에 회전 가능하게 결합되는 복수의 보조 개구부들(541)을 구비하는 보조 롤러(540)를 포함하고 - 상기 복수의 보조 개구부들(541) 각각이 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510)의 각 돌출 엘리먼트(511)를 수용함 -,
    상기 배치는, 상기 제 1 엠보싱 롤러(510) 및 보조 롤러(540)의 협응 회전 동안, 제 1 돌출 엘리먼트(511)가 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)에서 각각의 추가 캐비티(216)를 형성하도록 상기 제 1 라미네이트 재료(11)의 개재로 각각의 보조 개구부(541)와 맞물릴 정도인,
