Claims (8)
- 공구의 표면에 경질 피막을 갖는 피복 절삭 공구로서,
상기 경질 피막은 질화물이고, 금속 (반금속을 포함한다) 원소의 총량에 대해 티탄 (Ti) 의 함유 비율이 70 원자% 이상 95 원자% 이하, 실리콘 (Si) 의 함유 비율이 5 원자% 이상 30 원자% 이하이며, 금속 원소 (반금속을 포함한다) 와 비금속 원소의 총량에 대해 아르곤 (Ar) 을 0.05 원자% 이상 0.1 원자% 이하로 포함하고,
상기 경질 피막은 NaCl 형의 결정 구조를 갖고, (200) 면이 최대 강도를 나타내고, 평균 결정립경이 5 nm 이상 30 nm 이하이며,
상기 경질 피막의 깊이 20 nm 부터 200 nm 까지의 20 nm 마다의 각 조성이, 금속 (반금속을 포함한다) 원소, 질소, 산소, 탄소의 합계 함유 비율을 100 원자% 로 한 경우, 질소의 함유 비율이 50.0 원자% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막의 깊이 20 nm 부터 200 nm 까지의 20 nm 마다의 각 조성이, 금속 (반금속을 포함한다) 원소, 질소, 산소, 탄소의 합계 함유 비율을 100 원자% 로 한 경우, 산소의 함유 비율이 3 원자% 이하인 것 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막의 깊이 20 nm 부터 200 nm 까지의 20 nm 마다의 각 조성이, 금속 (반금속을 포함한다) 원소, 질소, 산소, 탄소의 합계 함유 비율을 100 원자% 로 한 경우, 탄소의 함유 비율이 5 원자% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막의 깊이 20 nm 부터 200 nm 까지의 20 nm 마다의 각 조성이, 금속 (반금속을 포함한다) 원소, 질소, 산소, 탄소의 합계 함유 비율을 100 원자% 로 한 경우, 산소와 탄소의 합계 함유 비율이 3 원자% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막은, 투과형 전자현미경으로 조직 관찰한 경우, 50 nm × 50 nm 의 범위 내에서 원 상당 직경이 5 nm 이상인 비정질상이 1 개 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막은, 나노인덴테이션 경도가 40 GPa 이상 60 GPa 이하이고, 탄성 계수가 400 GPa 이상 500 GPa 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 공구와 상기 경질 피막 사이에 중간 피막을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 경질 피막의 표면 및 단면 관찰에 있어서, 원 상당 직경이 1.5 ㎛ 이상인 드롭렛이 없고, 원 상당 직경이 1.0 ㎛ 이상인 드롭렛이 100 ㎛2 당 5 개 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 절삭 공구.
