Abstract
본 발명의 특징은 B-LED칩을 포함하는 LED의 상부로 LED로부터 발광되지 않는 광을 발광하는 양자점시트를 위치시켜, LED로부터 발광된 광과 양자점시트로부터 발광된 광을 혼합하여 백색광을 구현함으로써, 고휘도 및 고색재현율을 갖는 광 특성이 우수한 백색광을 구현할 수 있다.
특히, PCB의 양측 끝단으로 양자점시트를 통과하지 않아도 백색광이 발광되는 LED를 위치시키거나, 도광판의 반입광면과 양 측면으로 형광체가 도포된 사이드반사판을 위치시키거나, 광학시트 중 적어도 하나의 가장자리를 따라 형광체를 도포함으로써, 양자점 특성이 제거된 양자점시트의 가장자리부에서 블루 빛샘이 발생하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.

Claims (7)
- 액정패널과;
상기 액정패널의 하부에 위치하는 광학시트와;
상기 광학시트의 하부에 위치하며, 적색, 녹색, 청색 중 하나 또는 적색, 녹색, 청색이 적어도 2개 이상 혼합된 제 1 광을 발광하는 양자점시트와;
상기 양자점시트의 하부에 위치하는 도광판과;
상기 도광판의 입광면에 대응하여 위치하며, 다수의 제 1 및 제 2 LED와 상기 다수의 제 1 및 제 2 LED가 실장되는 PCB를 포함하는 LED어셈블리와;
상기 도광판의 하부에 위치하는 반사판
을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 LED는 상기 제 1 광과 혼합되어 백색광을 구현하는 제 2 광을 발광하며, 상기 제 2 LED는 상기 PCB의 길이방향의 양측 끝단에 위치하여 백색광을 발광하며,
상기 도광판의 중앙부에서는 상기 제 2 광이 상기 양자점시트를 향해 출사되며,
상기 중앙부를 제외한 상기 도광판의 가장자리에서는 상기 백색광이 상기 양자점시트를 향해 출사되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 LED로부터 구현되는 백색광은 상기 양자점시트의 가장자리를 통과하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 LED는 상기 PCB의 길이방향의 양측 끝단에 각각 1개씩 구비되거나, 각각 2개 또는 3개씩 구비되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 LED는 청색LED칩을 포함하며,
상기 제 1 LED는 상기 제 1 광과 상이한 제 4 광을 발광하는 제 1 형광체를 포함하며,
상기 제 2 LED는 상기 제 1 내지 제 2 광과 상기 제 4 광과 상이한 제 5 광을 발광하는 제 2 형광체를 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 광은 적색광이며, 상기 제 2 광은 시안광이며, 상기 제 4 광은 녹색광이며, 상기 제 5 광은 옐로우광인 액정표시장치.
