Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 폴리프로필렌 조성물로서,
a. 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 37.0 내지 95.0 wt% 의 폴리프로필렌 기재 (polypropylene base material, PBM) 로서, 프로필렌 동종중합체 (hPP) 대 헤테로상 프로필렌 공중합체 (HECO) 의 중량비 1:5 내지 1:25 범위로 프로필렌 동종중합체 (hPP) 및 헤테로상 프로필렌 공중합체 (HECO) 를 포함하는, 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM); 및
b. 상기 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 4.5 내지 50.0 wt% 의 탄소 섬유 (CF); 및
c. 상기 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.5 내지 13.0 wt% 의 접착 촉진제 (AP) 를 포함하고,
상기 조성물에 포함된 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 는 로빙 형태이고 평균 섬유 길이가 4.0 내지 17.0 mm 범위이고, 상기 조성물은 성분 a) 및 c) 를 갖는 입자 형태로 존재하여 ISO 1133에 따라 측정된 용융 유량 MFR2 (230℃, 2.16 kg) 가 12.0 내지 250.0 g/10분 범위인 중합체 매트릭스 (PM) 를 형성하고, 상기 조성물의 평균 입자 길이는 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 의 평균 섬유 길이에 대응하고, 그리고
상기 프로필렌 동종중합체 (hPP) 는,
a1. ISO 11357-3 에 따라 측정된 용융 온도가 적어도 150℃ 이고, 및/또는
b1. 상기 프로필렌 동종중합체 (hPP) 의 총 중량을 기준으로 크실렌 저온 가용물 (XCS) 함량이 ≤ 4.0 wt% 이며,
상기 헤테로상 프로필렌 공중합체 (HECO) 는
a2. 상기 헤테로상 프로필렌 공중합체 (HECO) 의 총 중량을 기준으로 크실렌 저온 가용물 (XCS) 함량이 > 5.0 wt% 이고, 및/또는
b2. 상기 헤테로상 프로필렌 공중합체 (HECO) 의 총 중량을 기준으로 공단량체 함량이 ≤ 30.0 mol% 이고, 그리고
상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM) 및 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 는 상기 조성물에서 유일한 중합성 화합물들인, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 의 평균 섬유 길이는 7.0 내지 16.0 mm 범위인, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 의 섬유 평균 직경은 5 내지 30 ㎛ 범위인, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 조성물은 상기 조성물의 총 중량을 기준으로 0.5 내지 8.0 wt%의 접착 촉진제 (AP) 를 포함하는, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 는, 기가 산 무수물, 카르복실산, 카르복실산 유도체, 1 차 및 2 차 아민, 히드록실 화합물, 옥사졸린 및 에폭시드로부터 선택되는, 극성 화합물에서 유래하는 기를 함유하는 폴리프로필렌의 군에서 선택되는, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 는 말레산 무수물 관능화 폴리프로필렌인, 폴리프로필렌 조성물. - 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 조성물의 제조 방법으로서,
a. 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM) 를 제공하는 단계,
b. 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 를 제공하는 단계,
c. 단계 a) 의 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM) 를 용융시키고 단계 b) 의 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 를 용융시키는 단계,
d. 연속 로빙 형태의 탄소 섬유 (CF) 를 제공하는 단계,
e. 단계 c) 의 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM) 및 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 를 단계 d) 의 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 와 조합하여, 탄소 섬유 (CF) 강화 폴리프로필렌 재료를 수득하는 단계,
f. 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 강화 폴리프로필렌 재료를 고형화하고 평균 입자 길이가 4.0 내지 17.0 mm 범위인 입자로 절단하는 단계를 포함하는, 조성물의 제조 방법. - 제 7 항에 있어서,
단계 a) 의 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재 (PBM) 의 적어도 일부 및 단계 b) 의 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 의 적어도 일부 또는 전량이 단계 c)에서 용융 배합되어, 단계 e)에서 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 와 조합되기 이전에 예비-화합물을 형성하는, 조성물의 제조 방법. - 제 7 항에 있어서,
단계 e) 는, 단계 d) 의 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 를 단계 c) 의 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재의 제 1 부분 (PBM1) 및 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 의 일부 또는 전체로 먼저 함침시키고, 그리고 후속하여 이렇게 함침된 탄소 섬유 (CF) 를 단계 c) 의 상기 폴리프로필렌 기재의 나머지 제 2 부분 (PBM2) 및 상기 접착 촉진제 (AP) 의 나머지로 코팅하여 탄소 섬유 (CF) 강화 폴리프로필렌 재료를 수득함으로써 행해지는, 조성물의 제조 방법. - 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 정의된 조성물을 포함하는, 물품.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 정의된 조성물을 사출 성형 단계로 처리함으로써 수득가능한, 물품.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 물품에 포함된 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 의 평균 섬유 길이는 상기 조성물에 포함된 상기 탄소 섬유 (CF) 의 평균 섬유 길이보다 작거나 또는 동일한, 물품. - 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 조성물로서,
상기 조성물은 ISO527-2에 따라 측정된 인장 강도가 적어도 150 MPa 이고, ISO179/1eA에 따라 측정된 샤르피 충격 강도 (노치) 가 적어도 8 kJ/m2 이고, 그리고 ISO 6603-2에 따라 측정된 IPT 천공 에너지가 적어도 5.5 J 인 물품의 제조를 위해 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물. - 삭제
