Description
Claims (13)
- 양이온 교환막에 의해서 양극 격실과 음극 격실로 분할되는 알카리 용액의 전해용 전지로서,
상기 양극 격실은 양극 벽과 상기 양이온 교환막에 의해서 한정되는 액체 챔버로 이루어지고, 상기 액체 챔버는 10 중량% 농도 내지 45 중량% 농도의 가성 소다의 수용액으로 이루어지는 알카리 전해질로 충진되며,
상기 양극 격실은 산소 방출에 적합한 양극을 수용하고 상기 알카리 전해질을 공급하고 방출하기 위한 수단을 포함하며,
상기 음극 격실은 음극 벽과 상기 양이온 교환막에 의해서 한정되는 가스 챔버로 이루어지고, 상기 음극 격실은 촉매 활성층을 통해서 상기 양이온 교환막과 밀착 접촉하는 가스 확산 음극을 수용하고, 상기 가스 확산 음극은 상기 양극 격실로부터 나오는 전해질 필름의 여과에 적합한, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 가스 확산 음극의 상기 촉매 활성층은 상기 전해질 필름의 여과에 적합한 친수성 층인, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 가스 확산 음극은 상기 가스 챔버로의 수소 방출을 용이하게 하기에 적합한 외부 소수성 층을 추가로 포함하는, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 양이온 교환막은 비보강된 단분자층 설폰막(non-reinforced monolayer sulphonic membrane)인, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 가스 확산 음극과 상기 음극 벽은 다공성 금속 구조물로 이루어지는 집전기에 의해서 전기 접촉되는, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
산소 방출에 적합한 상기 양극과 상기 양극 벽은 다공성 금속 구조물로 이루어지는 집전기에 의해서 전기 접촉되는, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
산소 방출에 적합한 상기 양극은 니켈 또는 스틸 메쉬 또는 팽창형 또는 펀치형 시트로 제조되는 기판으로 이루어지며, 상기 양이온 교환막과 직접 접촉하고 있는, 전해용 전지. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 따른 전지들의 모듈형 배열로 이루어지는 알카리 용액의 전해조로서,
2극 또는 단극 구성에 따라서 상기 양극 벽과 상기 음극 벽을 통해서 전기 접속되는 알카리 용액의 전해조. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 따른 전지에서의 전해 방법으로서,
이하의 동시 또는 연속 단계들 즉,
10 중량% 농도 내지 45 중량% 농도의 가성 소다의 수용액으로 구성되는 전해질을 상기 양극 격실로 공급하여, 상기 가스 확산 음극 내부에서 전해질 필름을 여과시키는 단계;
동력 장치의 네거티브 극에 상기 음극 격실을 연결하고 상기 동력 장치의 포지티브 극에 상기 양극 격실을 연결하여, 직류를 후속 공급하는 단계;
상기 전해질 필름 내의 수소의 음극 방출과 상기 음극 격실로부터의 상기 수소의 방출 단계;
상기 양극의 표면 상에서의 산소 방출 단계; 및
상기 양극 격실로부터 용해 산소를 수용하는 배기 전해질의 회수 단계;를 포함하는, 전해 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 촉매 활성층은 백금을 함유하는, 전해용 전지. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 집전기는 니켈 또는 스틸 포움(steel foam)으로 이루어지는, 전해용 전지. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 집전기는 니켈 또는 스틸 포움 또는 매트로 이루어지는, 전해용 전지. - 제 7 항에 있어서,
상기 기판은 촉매 코팅으로 활성화되는, 전해용 전지.
