2~3세의 건강한 소 20 마리에 대하여 기호도 평가를 실시하였다. 실시예와 비교예의 조사료 500g을 각각 소에게 별도로 급여하고, 해당 조사료의 기호성을 5점 척도법에 준하여 기호도 검사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 아래 [표 1]에 나타내었다. 여기서 비교예는 일반 조사료를 사용하였다.Preference evaluation was conducted on 20 healthy cows aged 2 to 3 years. 500g of the roughage of the examples and the comparative examples were separately fed to each cow, and the palatability of the forage was tested according to the 5-point scale method, and the results are shown in [Table 1] below. 혼합된 조사료 원료와 첨가물을 고온ㆍ고압으로 압축 가공하여 과립으로 성형하는 단계(S30);
과립으로 성형된 조사료를 건조하는 단계(S40); 및
건조된 조사료를 설정된 용량으로 계량한 다음, 이를 포대에 담아 포장하는 단계(S50);를 포함하고,
상기 조사료 원료를 분쇄하는 단계(S10)는, 입고된 조사료 원료의 보리건초와 연맥건초를 각각 분쇄기에 넣고, 5mm 이하의 입자로 분쇄하며,
상기 조사료 원료와 첨가물을 혼합하는 단계(S20)는, 보리건초 35~45 중량%, 연맥건초 35~45 중량%, 밀가루 5~10 중량%, 소맥 2~8 중량%, 당밀 2~7 중량%, 제올라이트 1~5 중량%로 혼합하고,
상기 과립으로 성형하는 단계(S30)는, 혼합된 조사료 원료와 첨가물을 큐브(Cube) 성형기에 투입하여 150℃ 이상의 고온ㆍ고압으로 압축 가공해 큐브 형상의 과립으로 성형하며, 이때 큐브의 크기는 10mm 이하로 성형하고,
상기 과립으로 성형된 조사료를 건조하는 단계(S40)는, 큐브 성형기에서 과립으로 성형된 조사료를 컨베이어로 이송하면서 송풍기를 통해 냉각 및 건조하여 수분 함량을 5% 이하로 조성한 다음, 저장탱크에 넣어 보관하며,
상기 건조된 조사료를 계량 및 포장하는 단계(S50)는, 저장탱크에 보관된 과립형태의 조사료를 포대와 담아 20㎏ 단위로 포장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반추가축용 조사료 제조방법.
